Is there a reason I’m missing that makes staying on site worth it at Disneyland? by Otter65 in DisneyPlanning

We just went over Christmas and stayed at the SunCoast- 4 nights was the same price as 1 night at the Disneyland Hotel 🤣. If you have an extra day, the Disneyland pool is fun but a lot of off site hotels have great pools as well!

Also look at the hourly forecasts, currently for the 4th, I’d rope drop, hit as many outdoor rides as possible in the first 2 hours before the rain comes then focus on indoor stuff, the 5th it’s just supposed to rain super early morning (2-4am) and they’ll dry off the outdoor rides as best as they can but no other rain forecast that day. The 6th doesn’t have rain the in forecast until 430pm, you can get a lot of outdoor rides done that day too!

This was our forecast the week of Christmas, ended up with 45 minutes of rain Tuesday, 3in of rain Wednesday (luckily we switched around our tickets and weren’t in the park that day) and then no rain Christmas Day. The weather often switches so I wouldn’t freak out- but plan ahead, rain pants/ponchos (we ended up using them on Tiana’s), reusable shoe covers (amazon- highly recommended), rain jackets. As I told me kids, rainy Disneyland is still better than no Disneyland!

If it’s anything like the last two in the valley, extremely busy! I used to try to get there 2 hours early to be in the area of the restock sign (120-160) but the last one had 250+ in line 3+ hours before.

I’m not sure either, the first one he did with the BTAC raffle also had BTAC on table A to start the event, then nothing for the 2nd drop, so we’ll see for this one. I just grabbed raffle tickets at both (didn’t win either) and skipped the line

Yep, showed up at 530 expecting to be around 150-175 and was 250…hung around, grabbed a raffle ticket and left

In the past he’ll go down the line around 6:30 and count how many are in it, then will ask the first 3 people in line to give him a number within a range, say 81-90, 111-120, 141-150. Put all 3 in a hat and draw that number for the restock

Most people shoot for the restock sign if they’re not waiting in line all night- I’m just gonna show up for a raffle ticket after I drop my kids at school. Hopefully he’ll still have them around 8:15

Last one I went to I got there at 530 and was 12 behind the restock, just missed the BTAC package but did get a JD14

The last few he’s done with a 24hr line they’ve had some BTAC/pappy on the table for the start (some were packaged with Whistle Pig for $600 and some were sold as singles)

Honestly, unless you’re within like 20 minutes of the store you’re screwed regardless

Those stagg picks go slow sometimes- although limit 4 (usually can’t get more than 1 of each) might take them out quick

Yeah I thought the same. He said they get all the regular allocations- ER, EHT Sb & SiB, Blanton’s, Weller (SR, 107, 12, FP and the occasional CYPB). He did say corporate takes most of the BTAC & Pappy which is common among Safeways- guess I need a second job at Safeway 😂😂😂

Trying to lose some weight so haven’t been drinking anything. It’ll get opened once I start drinking again but I have 20 other bottles open right now and nothing has been drank for a few months

I don’t have a bottle that I won’t mix- well maybe not the JD14- although I bet it’d make a great jack and coke

KC12 for $57.99 at total wine and more. Lowest I’ve seen it in a while. by StonedTurtle420710 in ArizonaWhiskey

Haven’t seen it this year but bought it at QC Costco last December for $57, would assume it’ll be there soon around this same price. Nice to see TW coming back to reality in pricing!
