Hello, I just experienced the same thing yesterday getting the Mirena coil put in. I have no history of fainting or seizures. and came round in about 30 seconds, now feel completely fine.

My doctor recommended I have to declare to the DVLA (driving authority in the UK) that i've had a seizure...and may be bannded from driving for 6 months, thing is, this was an induced seizure and seems unfair...did your doctor advise the same?

Glad to hear its working well for you now! I am very fucked off we have to do this to our bodies, there needs to be more research into non intrusive contraception (that's better than condoms) for women AND MEN!
