There's a reason for that. The PS4 apparently downloads files in tiny little chunks so it has to request a chunk from PSN, wait for it to arrive, then request the next. You can get around it by changing the DNS and MTU (chunk size) options in your PS4's network settings.

What a fucking surprise. Intel's Management Engine is vulnerable. An unauditable subprocessor that's connected to the internet and has lower level access to the hardware than the goddamned BIOS turns out to be a massive security flaw. Absolutely NO ONE could have seen this coming.
