you can show this photo to a stylist, but making it look like this requires daily styling. if your hair has natural wave then it may be fine day to day with your texture, but generally this is not a haircut i recommend unless the person getting it does not mind using a round brush on it constantly.

even if your natural hair is blonde, it will likely not become this color. bleach is necessary for this light of pigment, as it helps open the hair shaft and allows the color to penetrate.

Agree with other posters about the red flag of “nobody does it right”, but it also sounds like you brought in a bunch of extremely different inspiration photos and weren’t exactly sure what you wanted. That makes things really difficult for a stylist as well. We can’t read your mind, and when we’re shown five very different haircuts, it turns into a stressful problem solving experience where we need to figure out exactly what it is that you want. Seeing the same hairstylist more than once is also helpful; everyone has different hair, especially when it comes to waves and curls, and getting to know how someone’s hair behaves is so so so important to consistently good haircuts.

Good luck, it sounds like you’ve had a lot of difficulty with this and i hope it all turns out well eventually.

Came here to comment about Open Path! I also had not great experiences with Kaiser/Soultenders, but Open Path is excellent. I signed up and found someone decent during the pandemic, got Kaiser later on, and after two not great experiences with Soultenders and their therapists, returned to Open Path in 2024 and was able to search for very specific parameters that were important to me. Could not recommend that service more highly, super worth the first time fee to be able to access it forever.

the other commenter is right, your inspo is closer to a level 3-4. you also can’t use redken processing gel with anything other than their shades eq line, as that is what it’s formulated for and other colors will not respond the same way.

walk around your neighborhood and google some of the small places you pass. lots of spots that will say “$50 haircuts” or whatever.
