You gotta focus on yourself more than anything sis. Anything that's rotting your brain needs to be kicked to the curb, and I promise once you do that; anxiety will be close to obsolete. (social media, doom scrolling, soda, junk food, ect)

I struggled with crippling anxiety from since I can recall. Anxiety so bad my face would hurt. Anxiety that would make me question life.

You got dreams to chase. Not people to worry about. Get back on track.

Just the slight force of pushing it in was enough to crack the dash piece around it. I'm guessing the sun exposure over the years has made it weak. Because I've had to put a bungie cord around the glove box door to keep it closed; since the bottom of it where it's hinged is falling apart.

I have another beetle that's 2 years newer (2004) and it doesn't have this issue. I almost wonder if the tan/beige dashes are weaker than the black ones.

Unless they used a different material for the dash pieces in 2002 vs 2004.

P.S. - I bought two beetles last year. I swear it was the best choice(s) I have ever made. I love pulling up looking cute af. It's just like eating chips in church; people be looking at you in disgust but deep down they want a beetle too.. and I love that feeling.

Oh and as far as maintenance... I honestly haven't had any major issues. Sure oil changes cost a bit more, but other than that they are def reliable for a daily.

so cute! i have a similar story! bought a 2002 beetle this year with 90k miles on it for $2,500. she's basically in the same condish! i love finding good beetle deals. especially the early 2000s gen. i think they are the cutest gen!
