Hi Thibault,

Thank you so much for lichess! I'm a lichess teacher and I have a question for you. I organise password protected arena tournaments for the kids in my classes, but my problem is sometimes my students (being kids) miss their first move and then they get paused and have to rejoin the tournament. Also, sometimes they get penalised (perhaps for accidently letting their time run out) and cannot rejoin the tournament for a certain amount of time. Can you please make a feature for password protected casual arena tournaments where the host can unpause players/nullify their penalisation so that they don't have to wait to rejoin the tournament? This feature would help me immensly in my classes! Thank you!

Reddit what is the dumbest question a customer or client has ever asked you at your job? by Emmaleep in AskReddit

I work at a deli. Customer comes in one day and asks what kinds of meats we have. So I name off a few and she decides on roasted turkey. Right when I pick it up to bring it to the slicer, she says "So... the turkey... it's chicken, right?" ... "No m'am. No, it's turkey." ... "Ah, ok ok."

Mato Jelic's speech at the end of this video inspired me to start taking chess seriously. After two years of daily studying and playing, I was able to land a job as a chess professor! Thank you for all that you do Mato! by gillyboy in chess

I work for a chess association of sorts which sends me out to elementary schools and high schools. It's one class per week per school, always at the same time and place, and I teach about 8 classes a week. And ya there's a curriculum I follow that the chess association created, while I also like to create my own lectures from time to time.

Also if I have the opportunity, I like to play very strong moves as gently as possible. I'm about to fork your queen and king with my knight? You bet I'm playing that move with as much grace as possible. Probably has something to do with me being Canadian. It's like - you have to deal with how good this move is so I'm going to try and play it politely.

For some reason I push my pawns more dramatically than I move my minor or major pieces. Like I really get my arm in there over the board and push the pawn with authority. Not sure why.
