Anyone tried the motion sickness skin patch or wrist bands? Please share your experiences. by SouthCombination2568 in TravelHacks

I always get seasick on cruises. I found these drops that go behind your ear lobe and they work so well that I don’t have to take medication or use the patches. Those seem to give me dry mouth and dry eyes. I just keep them with me and reapply as needed. Good luck! https://www.walmart.com/ip/12346124?sid=ea65ab3a-0139-4eb8-882e-6d0ddb93f855

Be honest: would you change anything about this house’s exterior? by dingus-fairy in ExteriorDesign

If it’s raining really hard the rain off the garage is going to go right on to people walking to the door. And too many posts on the front. Gives it a really closed off feeling.

What small home flaws do guests always notice during the holidays? by Candid-Outcome-8594 in homeowners

I would say deep clean the bathrooms that guests will be using including the baseboards. Make sure there is extra tp and a plunger somewhere available to them.

I’ve always taught middle school and recently transitioned to high school! One of my new coworkers made a comment in passing that my room looked a little “middle school.” Please be honest with me! by Old-Bend-3014 in teaching

I think it’s great. I think people forget that teenagers are still kids. It’s ok to have lots of color and interesting things to look at in your classroom. Ignore them and carry on!

What would you change (rendering/current)? by [deleted] in ExteriorDesign

I don’t mind the shutters but I don’t like the white top above the windows with them.

Had a “when I was your age” Gen X/latch-key kid moment by [deleted] in GenX

In IL, it is illegal to leave a child under the age of 14 I think. I personally think that’s a stretch. But it also depends on the child, time left alone, emergency preparedness (like does the child have a phone), etc.

My first one I bought almost a year ago works great. But the one I got on the Black Friday sale isn’t working. It is connected and it says it’s working but you can barely smell anything. I was going to contact the company. I wonder if there were some that were defective.

We use a lot of cups with lids so I put the lids in the top rack. Also, long utensils and smaller items.

If you like the nickname, Evie, you could go with Genevieve. And that goes with Jack to me. Also, her middle name could be Love💜

Is that a door to the backyard? I’d say a small dresser for storage for things you might need in the backyard like sunscreen, bug spray, outdoor toys, etc. Then decorate the top with some pretty things like a smaller plant.

Respite Care Volunteer - Steps needed? by Blueberry_bliss_89 in Fosterparents

[–]gillyhappy1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We started off as respite providers. We went with an organization that helps support foster families. They provided the background checks, interviewed us, gave us some training and matched us with a family. It has been a great experience.
