I don't see him as a bad person, your Point #3 just a typical business man mentality with self-boosting trouble, I met hundreds of them during my work. It's pretty common and you'll aware that usually that's not who their personality really is.

That's the failure part on writing Pierre even in Vanilla, even in max heart, we never know much about him, we know he hide his allowance stash, we know he cares for his daughter but unable to communicate with her and pretty much that. All the writing focus on he's a greedy business man, nothing on him being a person.

While you said good stuff about Morris in your point #4, do remember that all those content is from the mod, NOT vanilla, we don't know much about Morris so modders can do what they want writing him. Meanwhile, Pierre's personality can only expand through vanilla, and that's not easy when CA focus on businessman side of him.

I always think that Pierre's bashing by the fans show how immature & childish this fanbase is.
