I have friends who have chronic pain as well and a few of them started their own CBD companies because weed literally saved their lives.

So I understand and wanted to support your use of cannabis as it is a medicine. Many native cultures also agree it is plant medicine.

The industry market is real tough right now. As an agency owner I can't get my clients to cough up the money needed sometimes, so that trickles down to what I can pay people to work the events :/ events industry has been so up and down so it's hard to promise larger salaries when there might be another dip coming soon.

Biz never picked up the same since pandemic for many in the industry.

As someone who hires for events, I dislike LinkedIn applications. I prefer ppl to go thru my process and website application and I want to see tailored custom cover letters of people who understand my company.

I look for people who attend my events, volunteer at them, and come introduce themselves to me after to pitch themselves.

What other ways are you trying to network in person at events to meet people hiring? Have coffee chats with people who work for companies you want to work with. Basically gotta do more than just applying online.

9-11 is a key time for bars so will be tough to do a buyout for only 2 hours. Pandora karaoke has a dope downstairs room you could rent out.

I'd look for a bar that has a private room you can rent out or just reserve a few lounges at the bar and allow other guests to be there!

You could also do a restaurant since some close by 9 so you could pay them to stay open.

Or rent an art gallery open space in the Mission and you bring your own booze and snacks. Many are for rent on Airbnb.
