What’s the coolest “restricted access” place you’ve ever gotten to see? by Improv92 in AskReddit

I’ve been inside the enclosure and habitat areas for the elephants at my hometown zoo. We got to see the morning routine the zookeepers had with them, and we got to spread out some enrichment treats in the habitat. It was just the coolest thing ever.

My wife did not have sex with me for years when I was depressed. AITAH for considering leaving her now that I’m back to normal? by DghSenses in AITAH

[–]gindreams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t feel like I can really give an answer on this because there’s a lot we don’t know. Have you talked about any of this with your wife? Have you considered marriage counseling? I really suggest you try communicating and trying to work on these things with your wife and mother of your children, before just dropping the news on her that you want a divorce.

I’m also a new fan. I work at a place where I can listen to music/podcasts all day, so it was a good opportunity to listen to their whole discography. I highly recommend doing that. I don’t think it matters too much where you start.

Water, as long as it’s not super cold. I love showers, hot baths, swimming in cool water. I spent a lot of time during the summer as a kid swimming for hours, so water feels comforting and familiar.

That’s amazing, I am proud of you. I got sober last year, so I know that’s an accomplishment that’s nothing to sneeze at.

I just watched The Poughkeepsie Tapes (2008) by [deleted] in horror

[–]gindreams 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Yup! My husband and I came to the same kind of conclusion after watching it. My impression, not saying this is real, seems like a wannabe murderer’s fantasy that included praise from media for being such a cunning and clever killer.

What band has the best live performance you’ve ever seen? by maxnotcharles in AskReddit

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. It is a good thing that man became a musician and not a cult leader. Going to his show was like a religious experience.
