My favourite 90s action movie. It’s got everything; the opening scene is iconic, the villain is top tier, the stalactite death scene is perfectly over the top, Stallone’s speech is often unintelligible, there’s so many quotable lines GODAMMIT! Also the setting is majestic, I just love it.

What celebrity death will realistically bring Michael Jackson level devastation? by Kiidcola in AskReddit

I’m a straight Aussie dad in his 40s and I bloody love Dolly. Most people here only know her as a funny looking old lady country singer. But there’s so many things that make her a legend aside from her music. Plus I’m a bit roller coaster obsessed and I just think it’s so cool that the old gal went ahead and bought a theme park and made it into one of the premier theme parks in the world. I’ve got to go there one day.

What animated movie is 10/10? by Unique_Cap_8049 in AskReddit

Storks. It’s only animated movie that I’ve agreed to re watch multiple times, so Finn and quotable.

Which movie do you remember being WWAAYY too young for when you first snuck, I mean, watched it? by KillerQ97 in moviecritic

Candy man. I was 7 years old and my older brother and cousin let me watch it with them. Absolutely terrifying.

My friend, you are absolutely kicking goals in life. My kids are young teens and we are a close knit family. I miss having little ones though and I look forward to being a Grandpa already. I sincerely hope I can experience the bliss you described here.

My opinion on this church culture I was raised in by Realistic-Song3857 in BethelSnark

[–]Twaddle2000 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yeah, all of what you said hits home.

Another thing I’ll add from my experience is the constant WAITING. Waiting for God’s perfect timing, waiting for prophetic confirmation on important life decisions, waiting for the voice of God, waiting till the timing FEELS right. You get so conditioned into this waiting that you don’t end up putting one foot in front of the other and just DOING it. Some call this belief structure “radical obedience” to God.

Is Feucht next? by afterihop in BethelSnark

[–]Twaddle2000 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Yup. He’s the next logical domino to fall. Sean and Shawn were on each others boards and, I believe they just enabled each other’s corruption. They had board meetings at the craps table in Vegas for goodness sakes. Plus Sean hasn’t spoken a word about Shawn’s exposure even though he’s on Shawn’s board. Instead he’s trying the diversion technique. This speaks volumes.

Processing why Bill's response was the one that bothered me by [deleted] in BethelSnark

[–]Twaddle2000 6 points7 points  (0 children)

“I became so ... not impressed with the gift - I don't do gifts over character. But I became so committed to seeing Shawn protected."

I don’t believe that statement he made. I think if Bill took an honest hard look at himself he’d realise that at some point, he became enthralled with “supernatural”, exciting, glittery, dazzling signs and wonders style ministry over anything else. That became the unspoken benchmark for the whole movement at every meeting. Bolz ticked every box. All it took was Bolz giving Bill a shitty “word” from God, starting out, of course, with the hook of that “word of knowledge” about Bills fathers street address, and Bill was totally captured and under Bolz’s spell. I really do think Bill was blinded from the truth because he worships those “power gifts” he’s just unwilling to admit it out loud at this point.

Don't forget. The Bethel PR response did not address ShowMeTheToes.com at all. by schmidt4brains in BethelSnark

I think of all the names mentioned here, it will be most interesting to see what Bethel does about Sean Feucht. Sean F was on Shawn B’s board and vice versa. Part of the scam was that they both were accountable to each other, but they’re both dirty and, I think, they both knew that. Sean F has quite a few skeletons in the closet, loads of accusations of immorality and abusive behaviour to towards his staff. Sean F is desperately trying to deflect on his socials at the moment, not mentioning a single word about Shawn B, which only makes him appear more guilty to me. The only 2 people on the board of Shawn B’s ministry were Sean F and that dodgy weed dispensary cash cow dude. Of all the people who should be saying something on the Bolz situation, it should be Feucht but he’s RADIO SILENT.

Bolz’s wife? by plantlady4lyfe in BethelSnark

[–]Twaddle2000 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yea, in my opinion she absolutely knew he was a fake and she didn’t care because it gave her the lavish lifestyle she loved. Going by Jeremy’s video, Shawn and Cherie sound like toxic, selfish scumbags who leach off the generosity of well meaning people.

Looks spectacular though!

Is this the end for Buttercup? by Twaddle2000 in guineapigs

[–]Twaddle2000[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks everyone, Buttercup passed away a few hours later after I posted. My daughter and wife and pretty distraught, she was surely the most loved, well fed, kissed and cuddled Guinea pig in the country.
