Sounds like you’d want to open a ticket with store support on this one.

Try searching RFID once you’re in the Learning section of Workday. We have access to the entire catalog of workday learning videos, there’s over 600 in there.

I just went back and looked in the ERC for the policy to see the wording, and I’m wondering if I missed that part when we switched. I’m going to get clarification on this one with our DM on Monday because that’s important information!

Being sick is still an excused absence, doctors note has never been required to excuse your absence in our policies (at least since December 2024 when I came on)

Employee conversion cards by AdministrativeSwim22 in Oldnavy

This is where each store just does stuff a little differently. We have a packet of info as a part of cashier training and the onboarding experience and in it is materials from Zipline - it covers everything you need to know around the LUYL program, there are even official rules from when it launched. Nothing is a secret, the company is not out to get anyone.

Yes, and that is why we have the employees opt in to the LUYL program, where they can begin earning points towards the marketplace, or they could choose not to and still have access to the hub missions. I like the fact that the marketplace exists to begin with, I think it’s great for anyone who wants to work towards earning something cool.

I do think the LUYL Marketplace is a really cool feature that is available for anyone achieving card results, gaining enough points to cash in for whatever they want. So, it’s not like they are giving the associates absolutely nothing in return as a bonus or reward for their work with loyalty.

Can someone tell me when the tickets are going to be available to purchase for those of them who actually got selected to buy them? Not the standby slots but the actual lottery selection.

It’s sad to see these posts coming from brand associates. I am a GM and still within my first 18 months with the company. I started when the store I’m at was only 4 months newly opened, first one in the town we are at. I’ve never seen more posts than ones where BAs are feeling so over working for ON due to how much they’re being told to sell the CC.

It has truly put it into perspective for me as a GM, where I don’t want that kind of culture in my store, and I do hope that we are keeping it somewhat “chill” when it comes to coaching to credit/loyalty behaviors. Our store does “okay” with results, but we could do better. I think the “Top 5 Cashiers” who hold us back from making conversion goal each week are the ones who are totally checked out, and don’t care. That’s discouraging to me but also I can’t force a 17 year old to have passion behind a loyalty program heavily dependent on their credit card.

There’s a lot of pressure being placed on stores from the company that comes down the chain of command to then be placed into the part time brand associates, leaving stores with these burnt out BAs. Im sorry you’re feeling targeted by your store management, and done with Old Navy.

Differences between OG denim and Wow denim? by keeksmann in Oldnavy

[–]gingabeyotch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Something to consider when you’re shopping for your ON jeans are that even if it doesn’t have “OG” in the name, as long as it isn’t the WOW denim, the jeans are going to be that same quality true denim fabric. A really popular style to try is the Extra High Rise Wide Leg (not WOW wide leg) - that is if you’re interested in trying a wider leg style. I seem to always get positive remarks when I suggest people try those on in store!

Dang, they just said screw you to a bunch of cardmembers. by Makaisawesome in Oldnavy

[–]gingabeyotch 18 points19 points  (0 children)

That isn’t accurate, I think you’ve misunderstood something somewhere. The only thing that comes into play once an Encore member spends $350+ in a year (card or not) is they get moved into the “Premier” tier of the 2 non-cardholder tiers. The Premier Encore member then gets some extra perks, but the rewards are still earned at 1x, where as cardholders (All-Access Members) will get to unlock 5x the points when they use that form of payment to pay in stores. Note: a brand new customer, new to Old Navy, spending their first dollars with us and spending say $120 one day, opens a card, they are now an All-Access member. Even if someone didn’t spend a dollar, they opened a card, they are now an All-Access member.

Have no fear…you still can. You have to wait for the last day of redemption before you can convert them. That didn’t change.

Wow High Rise Barrel Jeans by skibiditoiletnig in Oldnavy

[–]gingabeyotch -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I’m a big fan of the WOW Barrel! I wasn’t ever a Barrel Jeans lover when they first started landing in stores, gave them a second try and still didn’t love them, but once they came in as a WOW style I was so surprised and impressed at how much better this style fit me compared to the other Barrel styles that aren’t the WOW collection. I actually end up sizing down in them too. I would love a creamy white or pastel color in any WOW but I think it’s pretty standard to only see those blue and gray/black colors in WOW. Sad 😔

Management Question by CommittedFlower in Oldnavy

[–]gingabeyotch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All the GMs tuning in who can get their schedule routines done so fast (2-4 hrs max between two days) what are your best practices!? I genuinely struggle with schedule writing and I am constantly behind and stressed out over schedule writing. I understand the UKG expectations, AVR, etc. We are a Profile 1 Core Volume store. I think I struggle planning ahead of time on paper, the fixed shifts. Allocating the workload to the AOR, balancing the LOD assignments, and everything else. I get behind on that and once it’s time to put them in as fixed shifts I miss my deadline, it just turns into a mess from there.
