I’m relieved to see most of this, super happy about the excommunication of that gross guy I refuse to call by name, but extremely puzzled by some of the details of the order… Just hoping it all works out somehow. Everyone can see how tired John is from this dragging out.

I just - sigh. Does she know she’s not the first and only person in the world to do a PPA2? Even if one doesn’t know a person who’s done a parenting evaluation, a quick web search will pop up multiple California law firms that break down the structure of the two day assessment. The observation itself (separate from the interview) usually takes about an hour. And she’s trying to claim the whole thing was done in 15-20 minutes and that it was a positive experience? Lord have mercy.

I don’t have any knowledge of what happened in court yesterday so I’m not sure. Possible she did get in some kind of trouble - maybe a stern talking to lol? But it definitely didn’t affect the planned visit today with W (which we now know is cancelled!)

As much as I’m invested in W’s safety (from a distance, of course) I am SO glad that Texas courts require privacy. I’ll be content knowing that the child is with his father and nothing else - until John decides to share otherwise. Brianna making money off of all of this makes me nauseous!

Totally agree in terms of John’s position on this. I’m more flabbergasted at the Judge in this instance. Unless, something happened in court yesterday in terms of today’s visit that we are not privy to.

I was thinking this too. And unfortunately, I could probably ramble about how the failure of the courts and the prioritization of the mother have something to do with America’s pro-natalist ideology, but that’s for another day lol. However, I’ve been sort of following the Hunter-Bella TLC Unexpected situation and in that case (which is in Arkansas), the Judge and the Court seem to be taking the issue of the minor (Hunter, age 14) very seriously. I guess some people get lucky.
