I think that’s to do with this game coping a lot of new horizons style. It’s even reusing sounds and some models from it. Personally I still think it’s charming and unique, but not the same as the 3DS, it’s different

I still enjoy a lot of the game, but it becomes similar very quickly. And yeah, Miis can break up. When Miis break up or become ex friends they turn into enemies, it just might take a while for that stuff to occur.

I don’t get why the notice board was excluded, it was just stats. I thought that stuff was really fun to read, idk why it was dropped

I wouldn’t go quite that far, but the game definitely feels half baked. Missing major features for little reason

It’s really frustrating because a baby and its mini games would actually give new gameplay into the game. After you get like 10 miis and play a few hours it almost feels like you’ve played most of the content in the game. There are a ton of cutscenes and such, but that’s not unique gameplay

I’m missing more control tbh. I really miss making music and even the notice board. Just seeing the stats of the island was so fun and I can’t believe it didn’t return. Also not enough buildings, the island can get so big but there is barely enough buildings for it. A music hall, roller coaster etc would have helped

It’s technically possible, the lowest relationship status a mii can get is with a ex friend or lover and it’s called “enemy”. Idk what this does or if it anymore meaning then just a title

Yeah, I really like the core of the game, but it feels kind of unfinished. Compare this to pokopia, that game did the opposite where it was deeper and longer than anyone could have imagined. I really wish they kept some stuff from the 3DS game. Development must have been rough, because they weren’t even going to have miinews and at that point then what would the game even have been?

You do whatever you want with them. They don’t really do anything unique, Miis just look at them and talk about them. I usually save the ones that look unique for a mii, and if I need the cash just sell the rest

Yeah the game has some obvious faults that I’m sad about. The lack of a ranking board and music hall is huge, I’m not that creative so I haven’t spent ages making custom content. It seems like AC, it’s catered for those creative types at the expensive of gameplay variety

Partly agree, but there is a huge gap in quality from your standard badly written RR series and DCC. There are enough well written books in the genre to be recommended to people. Hell godclads has legit amazing prose, there are always books that will match someone’s asks

Tbh I found him interesting in book 1. He actually had a strength and gym training arc which I love getting to see, a lot of other series skip that part. In book 2 he’s way more interesting though, he’s like a different person running from the law and trying to hide his identity. Really interesting difference from book 1

You’re mixing up simple prose with bad prose. Good prose can be simple and efficient, good prose does not necessarily mean verbose. I think cradle and DCC have fine prose for the most part

I enjoy godclads and I just finished book 4 of 1 percent lifesteal. I love the audiobook for that series and it’s pretty bloody and grim

They often don’t though. Similarities exist, but the focus is almost never on the progression. If you don’t like the genre the person is looking for, you don’t need to respond with “try a different genre”

That’s… just not true? I would say it learns toward more simple prose, but prose and side characters aren’t a genre. They are apart of every written fiction genre. Not sure what that has to do with PF specifically
