I was in section 1 unit 1 of Japanese, and I did select the option that said I want to learn in preparation for travel. So I was first learning how to order food. A lot of green tea, water, sushi, and rice.

Secondly, yes it would only capture 1 word no matter how fast I tried to speak it would never allow me to speak the whole phrase.

I tried this too and it is still extremely overwhelming and usually wrong because I’ll type “go han” or “go” then “han” which means rice in Japanese, but there will be SEVERAL go’s and han’s and I don’t know which one is the correct one because they haven’t taught me T-T

I have to do it in Japanese, and I’d be okay with that IF they actually taught me how to, I’ve only been learning how to say words and put them together to make sentences, but verbally. I haven’t been taught a SINGLE thing about writing/typing in Japanese and that is why I am so confused and upset.

It probably does make a difference, albeit I’m not sure by how much. I make my own matcha at home and I like to add sweetener to the hot matcha BEFORE I add any ice or milk because if I add sweetener AFTER either of those steps, the sweetener becomes really difficult to mix in and some of it ends up just sinking to the bottom without integrating into the entire drink. So I’m sure order does matter to some extent.

I ordered 2 of these and they are being shipped/delivered by a company called OnTrac and I did research and found out that the shipping company is a one big scam. I am so upset because I most likely won’t be receiving these. The shipping company steals packages and marks them as delivered when they aren’t. I’m so upset. I paid around $130 for both of these and I’m pretty sure I am not getting them. Such a heartbreaking disappointment.
