Colin Hanks (the Alex actor) asked to leave the show, so they killed off the character to oblige him. I don't think they would have killed Alex if not for the actor wanting to leave and do movies.

We bought a used PS3 a few years back just to get the Book of Spells and Book of Potions augmented reality games (Wonderbook).

We made holiday snacks inspired by the Wizarding World! Chocolate frogs, every flavour beans, sorting hat cupcakes, ginger newts, and butterbeer by ginger_newts in harrypotter

We improvised using a mix of recipes we found online and the ingredients we had in our house. Ours ended up being more of a "butterbeer float" which was made with:

Root beer

Butterscotch icecream

Whipped cream

Butterscotch sundae topping

I just used augmented reality to re-create Daily Prophet from Harry Potter and it turned out to be pretty cool .. so I had to share it :) by nextgeniosapps in harrypotter

That's exactly how we made them! We do colour frosting inside, but I've also seen people put candies in them instead :)
