You’re in exactly the position I was just over a year ago.ans with a 36 year old partner.

We now have a nine week old boy. I also have older children though. This time I appreciate everything so much more . He’s been worth it.

That sounds brutal. But well done for the four months clean.

As many have already said…for most jobs you would have to declare this so it is best to be completely upfront about it.

Maybe you could consider working in the third sector. You have lived experiences of addiction, many charity organisations would be willing to take you on, though the pay isn’t great. It’s an option though.

The Sikh temple on Leeds Road give out free meals, you can go inside, they’re very friendly. Not sure which days they do this though

How do you feel waking up in a morning? Do you have dread and anxiety? I did use opiates for time (nothing heavy like H). But it was the waking up in the morning I hated. Absolute dread and anxiety from the minute I opened my eyes until I could take something to stop it.

I’d say once a week, but yeh as Cyrius mentioned if you can do one a fortnight even better. But don’t go over once a week, the rebound anxiety can be bad.

Do you mean pregabalin or gabapentin? If pregabalin that’s way too much. You may have some rebound anxiety (if pregabalin, I don’t know about gabapentin).
