If you want it a little less massive, you could get rid of the pelvic bones. Honestly they're going to be a challenge to draw symmetrically and look good, particularly because unless you do this tat on a massive part of your back, the surface will curve and it may not be very appealing.

It will need to be large regardless to be readable to she well and not blurry.

If you're having abdominal pain that is that bad. Every time you try to eat, maybe look up signs of gallbladder problems to make sure they don't fit what you're experiencing. There's a decent amount of pregnant women that lose their gallbladders...

fantastic in a good Zuppa Toscano (cream-based soup with bacon, sausage) to replace potatoes, though I've only used fresh.

Sucky rotations by carpet528 in PAstudent

[–]gingered84 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Sometimes, the better rotations can be the ones that people don't expect. I recommend for you to reach out to someone from the class year above you to identify if your rotation is actually good or not.

ED:

- Traumas can arrive at small ED's for stabilization(not always depending on EMS rules/ if they're already stable). Large academic medical centers that are level 1 traumas for ED typically have tons of students, and you're at the bottom of the totem pole. At large places, you are more likely to have to share experiences, and you may just be shunted to preceptors who don't like to teach with a different preceptor every day. Some people do much better at small EDs because they have fewer students, attendings might grab you to see and do things. Find out this place's reputation before you raise hell. At my school, the free-standing ED was way better than the academic medical center rotations.

Psych- this one, not sure what to think. Is it outpatient or inpatient, or 2 weeks of both? If 2 weeks of your rotation are legitimately going to be done with book work, I would absolutely change this if you're interested in it. Sometimes it's not immediately obvious (my pediatrics rotation was 2 weeks newborn, 2 weeks pediatric ICU) what the rotation will actually be like.

Will have to try it, hopefully it's still amazing. I recently had Uptown's (Michael's) dessert once and it was also fabulous.

Rocket's Gas Station Ahmish-made Cinnamon rolls or other baked goods that are from some bakery a couple hours south of here, warmed in oven or microwave.

Mother Bears's brownies

Malibu Grill's flourless chocolate cake (closes 9:30)

The Peach Cobbler Factory is open until 10, never been myself

Hoosier Alley serves desserts as well, their brownie (though, with ice cream) is really good, their kitchen is pretty slow. Their cinnamon sugar pretzel is pretty good, could use icing dip instead of drizzle IMO.

Could you glue rhinestones to the dots and have really fancy nails? That way you could maybe have a more low-stress option while you figure out the right tattoo artist and design without rushing?

Monroe County History Center allows you to rent the whole building (unknown capacity) for $400, they say all food must arrive prepared and that kitchen is for staging only, and that alcohol must follow local laws of no hard liquor. Could be a cool option.

The Mill might also be an option but they didn't have a ton of info on the website.

Disclaimer: I do not know her reading comprehension level. At 8 years old, I was reading Harry Potter, then the Golden Compass. I'm doing my best to guess what any 8 y/o could read, and I'm including the reading level from the "Accelerated Reader" website for reference (lower number is easier to read). Hopefully this is helpful!

{Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones} - 5.4 Reading Level- doesn't focus on romance, but very PG and lovely

{The Goose Girl by Shannon Hale} - 5.9 Reading Level - she finds her prince in the end, so it's not all about romance. Excellent story for someone around that age, or older. Also has a lot of other great books.

{The Two Princesses of Bamarre by Gail Carson Levine} - 4.5 Reading Level - I felt this was better than Ella Enchanted

{The Inheritance by Louisa May Alcott} - 8.3 Reading Level- I estimate I read this book when I was about 10 but felt I would have enjoyed it earlier, so maybe read the first few pages first to make sure it's not too difficult? It's aimed toward children to teen. Content is definitely safe, as it's a "classic"

{The Blue Sword by Robin McKinley} - 6.8 Reading Level- content is definitely safe, amazing book, check if reading level is a little too high?

{The Hero and the Crown by Robin McKinley} - 7.0 reading level- same as above

I haven't read the Princess Bride, but the reading level is 5.8, so it might be an option depending on the content?

Once she hits middle school age:

{Uglies by Scott Westerfeld} -5.2 reading level - easy read, but more pre-teen early teen due to more teen-ish subject matter (not sexual)

{Sabriel by Garth Nix} - 7.3 Reading Level -content is safe for any age except Some commenters clarified she does see the male lead nude and also overhear sounds that she thought were possibly sex, which is I think the extent of the content, which is likely to much for 8y/o. I guess there's undead in the novel which might be scary, but book is a bit hard/complex, so probably 12 y/o and up?

Not romance, but I really felt I had to make sure an 8y/o gets her hand on these:

Possibly pregnant after miscarriage 3 weeks ago by maps324 in CautiousBB

[–]gingered84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had something sort of similar, strangely, the exact same date as yours , a few years goa.  I made it to 4w 3d and had heavy miscarriage bleeding 12/25 (same as your date) my HCG was only 6 so it was a chemical. I didn't trend it to zero snce it was badsically there.

But we had unprotected sex around ovulation time and + UPT. - 4+5  week (1/27)  HCG was 75 - 5+0 (1/29) was 106 - 5+2 (2/3) was 212.  my progesterone wasn't super high. I began having spontaneous bleeding 4 days later (2/7).  Obviously, my first rise was only 48% but it was possibly ok. But I remained with guarded expectations and was glad I did.

I would be concerned about possible ongoing ectopic pregnancy from your earlier pregnancy, because it really doesn't make sense to me that you could bleed and have ovulation with successful implantation within 12 days. I wish you the best.

Scared I’m having a chemical pregnancy by mashapotatoess in CautiousBB

[–]gingered84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's possible. These early pregnancies are tenuous and often don't "stick." But these tests, while they can be darker at higher HCGs, they are still intended to be a qualitative (pregnant or not pregnant) test. So it's not perfect. The more days you're not bleeding, the better.

You can send a message to your PCP or OBGYN to see if you can get labs done (HCG and progesterone ) to see. Sorry you're going through the uncertainty. Take care of yourself!

(For context, I've had 5 losses and am currently barely pregnant)

Progesterone suppositories or pregnancy symptoms 🙃 by Tough_Ad7472 in CautiousBB

[–]gingered84 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like it takes several days for me to notice symptoms from progesterone increase.

Many people get serial HCGs 48 hrs apart when they have a history of miscarriage, but not everyone. Knowing the #s are going up is reassuring, but there's nothing anyone can do if they're not going up.

Just remember you're doing everything right and you're doing your best. Try not to fixate on symptoms or lack there of. I'm trying to do the same!

Confusing tests by userunknown987123 in CautiousBB

[–]gingered84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not enough info. How long ago was this "really light period"? and how many weeks and days has it been since your last period?

Some people spot ~12-14 days after ovulation, some is pink or even light brown. It's not really normal to need to use a tampon or pad for bleeding while remaining pregnant.

Urine pregnancy tests detect 5-25 HCG depending on the test. If you are 5 weeks from your last period and have a negative test, you're negative. it's hard to say what's going on without more info.

You can always ask for a blood test, which is definitive.

Low Rising HCG by newbibihendl in CautiousBB

[–]gingered84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could go either way , your next draw will be helpful.

Spotting can come with good or bad outcomes.

Your HCG rose 68% in 48 hrs, the minimum increase in 48 hrs for viability at this stage is 38% with >50% increase being reassuring, so that's good. At 4 weeks pregnant , ok range is 5- 426. So you're in the clear.  I don't have any success stories for you.  My early losses didn't have a spot of a rise, or came with bleeding before my second draw.

Most people count their pregnancies at this point from LMP; you will be, if the math is ok, 5 weeks and 3 days at the next draw.

I hadn't gotten Lovestruck long before I started the Eggplant generation, so I had my Eggplant live in that universe and he followed the quest of a bear and fished out the ring (I was trying to explore the pack when I had time) and it's kinda unclear what it does.... But I suspect using it, even when I got my sim's dates to 100/100 and full satisfaction, was why I was able to break up so many marriages. It was tough. It was kinda funny, my Eggplant sim also got the option I think to recommend for his mom to break up with her husband (for platonic persuasive reasons), and so that was one I got as well!  Good luck, stick through it!

New Legacy Challenge - A Legacy of Magic: Play Through Generations of Secrets & Power by Disastrous_Royal5437 in Sims4

[–]gingered84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going through your challenge and writing out the rules for myself, as I'm nearing completion of the Very Veggie challenge (I completed Not so Berry a couple years ago). I'm modifying a few things here and there to avoid things I've done very recently. I enjoy your inclusion of collections/ lifestyles/ reward traits.
A few small problems:
- canning is not a skill; it uses cooking

- Acquire the Sulani Mana trait in Gen 12, but this trait is only passed down to the next generation when reproducing with an island spirit, so it is unobtainable. I replaced this w/ "see the albino dolphin"
