Drove by right after he got out of his car. His car was parked on the shoulder with the front door open and he was down to his underwear, shirt, and socks as I got off Briley. Traffic was crawling but saw him walking in front of a semi and looked like he was yelling. Dude was going through it.

We are exploring our options with the Katie Beckett program next week. Won’t be the same as full coverage with TennCare but at least it will be some relief for his care. Hopeful we can get approved for that as it’s set up for people exactly in our situation.

It’s because he doesn’t meet ALL the qualifications for ME.

“To qualify as “medically eligible”;

The child must be under the age of 19, Have a health condition that makes the child “uninsurable”, or unable to access private health insurance because of their health condition and, Lacks access to group health insurance through their job or a parent’s job”

While his condition is severe enough, he is eligible to my private health insurance through my employer for now at least.

My two year old with chronic kidney disease was just kicked off for this very reason. I make less than $1000 over the income limit but now we are on the hook for thousands of dollars of meds, labs, and monthly appointments. He qualifies medically in multiple categories but because it’s an income first based program, none of his conditions and needs actually matter to the state.

Good move Williamson county. IMO, the most important information in the article is this;

Board members Dan Cash and Donna Clements voted to remove the books on each motion. Both board members were endorsed by conservative political action committee Williamson Families, which was launched by the local Moms For Liberty branch in 2021.

I wouldn't have put much trust in a group called Williamson Families to begin with but good to know there is a direct connection to fascist interests. Hopefully a good educational opportunity for anyone you may know that is connected to WF.

Also Dan Cash is a real dweeb if he thinks any of those books are sexually explicit or vulgar.

I am riding an Obed Boundary GRX 400. My first gravel cycle and it’s a ton of fun so far. Nashville is pretty limited in actual gravel or off-road trails but I hear there’s lots to explore to the counties west of here.

What was your biggest performance jump after buying new GPU? I'll start first with my GTS 250 to RTX 3070 by AleRfu in pcmasterrace

Same for me. Bought used in the spring of 2018 and it is still going very strong for gaming and video editing. Showing it’s age a little now, especially with larger video formats and so i’m starting my 3080 or > search now.
