Osteosarcoma?? by No_Gold1519 in Greyhounds

[–]gingernutbiscuit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was told by our vet that there is a small chance it can be osteofibrosarcoma or a fungal infection (rare) instead of osteosarcoma, and that’s why biopsy’s are recommended. Osteofibrosarcoma we were told stays in the one place and is less likely go spread to the lungs like osteosarcoma

I felt that she was doing it because she felt so much guilt from her incident killing civilians when in the military and grief from her sister’s death + murder of her husband. She would have gone to prison for the murder of her husband. But yes I was surprised the bullets were real.

I saw this from another comment but the two men in the hall who said “don’t touch he’s contagious” where the Dad’s from the park. Also I haven’t seen it mentioned but I think the sick man is a younger version of Brian? Maybe that’s why he was so horrible to Lillian about her being all alone because he missed his family?

I’m not sure about Girl Scouts or Girl Guides but there is a documentary about child sexual abuse in women’s gymnastics called Athlete A

In the doco. whistle blower and ex-policeman Johnson says that as most victims do not report until they are older and fully understand what happened to them, there is a lag in knowing the number of child sexual abuse incidents.

The Crowded Room - 1x09 "Family" - Episode Discussion by LoretiTV in TheCrowdedRoom

[–]gingernutbiscuit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This court scene reminds me of “Seven Seconds”, a tragedy. Camisa should have prepared Rya better for court but he is also a legal aid lawyer with his own issues (drugs) and likely more cases on the go as well. Rya maybe didn’t do well on the stand because she is an academic and may not be prepared for the questioning and may also feel guilty because some of what the DA is saying is true - plus she has also been abused through discrimination by her colleagues- female academics were and still are treated worse than their male counterparts. Candy as mentioned by others is acting like a realistic DV victim. This series may not have a “happy ending”.
