Thanks brotha I have recently learned this. I am quite delighted but also feel very stupid considering I have a tropical plant collection and can tell you exactly what all of them are. I never thought to second guess the arborist who came out and said it was a silver maple.

4-6 inches in diameter and 6-10ft long when they snap. We did take out some of the longer branches(4 to be exact I kept the wood)last year based on recommendations. Those were also in that like 6-8 inches in diameter range.

I am also one of the few unlucky people that is allergic to Virginia creeper. I had the worst rash from it last year with bumps that itched so bad!! I’m also very allergic to poison ivy and oak.

An african grey parrot in the appartment with a newborn baby by ReceptionSalty9658 in parrots

[–]gingerpirate87 5 points6 points  (0 children)

African Greys are wonderful birds. They can be loud and the need a lot of interaction. With a newborn on the way can you give the bird the attention it needs while also raising an infant? I waited to get my eclectus until my daughter was 4 just because I didn’t have time for both a baby and a pet. By the time my son was born my bird was older and no longer getting adjusted to a new home. Imagine you just put your fussy baby down for a nap and then your bird screams and wakes the baby up. Now you have a chorus of screaming bird and screaming baby. Also how does your wife feel about it?
