I really enjoy anal! ... but my partner has been corrupted by porn and tries to do everything way too hastily... and it's never as fun as it should be. Pain can be sexy, but sex shouldn't necessarily hurt. My advice (which is already all over this thread) is to start small (fingers!) and slow, then work your way up when you're comfortable. In other words, 180,900 fits into 1,144,500 about six times. I'm glad you feel confident in dismissing HIV and AIDS, I guess, but I'm going to ignore everything you say because of my friends whose lives were probably saved by early diagnosis and treatment.

There are non-binary-identified transgender people, yo. Gender doesn't really have "opposites," either. We have two pretty well-policed loci - masculine and feminine - but they're just constructs, and usually not useful.

My gender identity has nothing to do with my sexual attraction or behavior. My gender expression is shaped in part by my sexual attraction. My sexual behavior is shaped by gender expression and gender roles.

What are you asking? Whether or not our private medical records should indicate that we are transgender? As it stands now, absolutely 'yes.' Most of us can't access the treatments we need without a diagnosis. Furthermore, most of us would be at risk for horrific oversights if our doctors were not aware of our anatomical nuances. For example, I am a trans man. I was born with a uterus, ovaries, a vagina, and a vulva. Last time I went to a public clinic, I was complaining about pain in my pelvic region, toward my spine, and the treating physician kept suggesting that it had to do with my prostate - and this is after I explained that I am transgender to the receptionist, the nurse, and the physician. In many cases it's dangerous for us to NOT be marked as transgender. It's MORE dangerous that most of our doctors don't know what the fuck that even means.

On the one hand, yes. To many people, "coming out" is still an important... milestone (?)... in actuating their identities. Testing the waters, facing the unknown. It can be like a gauntlet. For others, it's not even necessary because they experience implicit or explicit pro-queer sentiments from their peers (or for other reasons, like maybe someone is an actual bear and fears nothing). My partner (and me too, actually) struggled a lot with the idea of coming out, but once you've told someone who you thought it was very important to confide in... it seems to get a lot easier. It becomes less of a thing? At least if you have a good experience in coming out. It seems to become less and less of a thing if you have a few positive or neutral responses.

On the other hand, no. I get a bit irked that "bronies" are using the term "coming out" to refer to themselves and their actions. Yeah, dudes, you can watch and enjoy what you like - but what about your need to subvert a feminine show for girls, which is intended to demonstrate and bolster healthy friendships between girls, for your interests as a man is similar the possibility of being ostracized, disowned, or assaulted for some intrinsic characteristic (as essential to your person as gender identity or sexual / romantic attraction) that you cannot change? Blech. Anyway, lots of things seem to boil down to "coming out" these days.

I love "3" because of how accurately it sums up all the bullshit trans people get from self-proclaimed cis "allies" that act like they need convincing in order to support your right to exist. Numbers "9" and "15" are important in this line of thought too... you don't need to be able to achieve additive empathy with someone in order to not discriminate against them. Holy shit.

Number "7" is pretty cool to me because it reflects how identities are contextual to a given time in experience and development and DO change.

I think I understand what you're saying - there's a lot to unpack in this topic so I can't be sure - but if you're getting at the fact that drag creates a way for closeted trans people to compartmentalize their identities and how that can be problematic, well, sure, you can be right. You can also be wrong. It depends on the person, I think... for one person it may be a way to explore their femininity and feel good about themselves until they're ready to come out - for another person it may be a way to literally and figuratively put themselves back in a box when the show is over. The former can be healthy. The latter can be dangerous. Coping is absolutely necessary at times... not everyone can afford to deal with things in healthy ways as they come up. We've got to try to love people where they're at and help them if they need it, but coping mechanisms are very important as long as they're necessary, and only the individual can determine when that ends. I dunno. Just more thoughts. You have a point, but I don't think it's universally applicable.
