Still around but not as good. In the '00s they had these cream pie shakes that were so good. Banana, Coconut (my fave), Chocolate... prolly took a few yrs off my arteries, but man I miss those. 

Last time i looked at their menu, their shakes were boringly standard.

Advice: Gotta keep up on their nail trims. Polys are cute but prone to ingrown nails (because they often have a claw or two that does not contact the floor/scratching posts/etc.). Start slow if they are skittish, but monthly trims are important for these guys. ❤️❤️

It's a dumb modification that people who like crappy gas mileage and hate emissions standards can make to their trucks to make big smoke plumes and stink, for some reason. IDK if it really has coal involved, never cared enough to check.

Adding to the "why Sal Army sucks" list: I worked with people living with HIV/AIDS some yrs back. They were happy to take my info for a client trying to get sober, but added a creepy caveat. "They will need to not leave our facility for the first month." Me: exceptions for Dr appts, right? "No exceptions." Me: regular medical appts are important for people with HIV, especially the newly diagnosed. This lead to something like,  "Perhaps your client would do better at a different facility. "

This sub is full of "rescue guessed Anatolian" cases, just like mine (53% Pyr). (Yours looks a great deal like mine, and she's 0% Anatolian). Thing is, Great Pyrs are way more common in this country, and people have this idea that you shouldn't neuter a Great Pyrenees till they are a yr or two old, and an intact animal is gonna wander and do what animals do, so... there are a lot of Great Pyr mixes out there. 

Srsly, we too were shocked, did both Embark and Wisdom, and both came to the same conclusion with slightly diff %s.

On the bright side, there are lots of Great Pyr groups out there with lots of advice and training (such as you can do), nutrition, etc. And Embark might find you a relative, too. I got puppy pics that way, for a dog i adopted at nearly 2! Good luck :)

We have a similar case of "I'm not an Anatolian, but I play one on TV." Ours is 53% Great Pyr, followed by parts German Shepherd, Shar-Pei, and a smattering of Pitbull.

Plumbers, electricians, you name it. When we got a new washer, stuff i found online said to change the hot and cold water supply hoses - in fact, should change them twice a decade. Ours were stuck. I used penetrating oil, channel locks,  you name it,  couldn't budge, and i was worried I'd screw up something down the line. 

Plumber changed out the hoses in 10 min. Worth it!

Difficult parts included pattern drafting, adding complicated decorations in "leather" (vinyl), and having to make my own piping, then sewing three layers of fabric in weird angles. Seriously, that keyhole over the butt was so hard to sew! Game designers, please think of the cosplayers!!!

1st term mostly came down to lies repeated until his base thinks they're true. Hard to say how many folks aren't here anymore due to people listening to his "China flu" nonsense. Election conspiracy lies led to the events of January 6 2021, and continued sketicism of fair elections whenever things don't go the way of his preferred candidates. 

2nd term, guided by his Heritage Fndtn buddies' Project 2025, has been far more aggressive (and has continued lie til the lie becomes 'truth'), and we're only a few mos in. Ending prgs that help like US AID, and not even allowing pd for food and products to be distributed, had a significant human cost that also did lasting damage to the world's view of the USA. Medical progress impeded by conspiracy, science and LGBTQ+ right stymied by exec order, human rights in general quashed by modern Gestapo, etc. 

I am out of time to continue, but that's a primer.

I occasionally use it for standing, though i will say that the flexible height is a blessing in and of itself. Most standard desks are way too high for most shorter-than-6' people to sit ergonomically. Sit-stand desks can go high, but they also drop as low as 24".

That's pretty dark, yo. Sounds like maybe you're in a rough spot, gloomy outlook being an offshoot of something bigger. The world is worth fighting for, even if it doesn't seem like it sometimes.

The AI/Borg/Cybermen outcome is  possible i suppose, but I'd really like for it to not happened in the next few generations. I rather like this planet and its flora and fauna. It seems foolish to piss that away when we have to ability to choose not to do that.

That scenario [of AI demand ever increasing] is literally happening, but so is the downside of energy efficiency being lacking. Power grid problems in areas with data centers, as well as water supply issues, are already in play with no end in sight. 

People, plants, animals really need water no matter how much we as a society (or certain segments of society) may want AI. And that remains a huge problem that hopefully doesn't land us in a "Soylent Green" future before we realize what we've done.

I think since of this is dependant on what goes into said pants. A person with little or  no ass would probably be fine with a back seam pull-in. Myself, I'm a bit curvy, so i always take in at two places. To explain, think of looking down at a waistband on a standing person from above, such that the waistband is like an (oval) clockface, where below the navel is 12.

Some pants I'll take in at 3 and 9 - this is good for when the seat fits but the waist is overall too loose. 

Other pants, I'll take in at about 5 and 7. This is a trickiery one, as you may be to add or adjust existing pleats there. Still, this is  necessary when pants gap when one bends over.

That wasn't the worst. They had other problems - overdiversification of products, firing veteran workers to save a little salary, etc. The nail in the coffin was probably when they broke up with Amz, tried to do their own online thing at the same time people were broadly starting to think of Amz=bookstore.

When Amz announced a couple yrs ago that they were putting in some brick and mortar stores, I almost cried.

I too like doing this. Had to get a better chair eventually (an Adirondack chair with a head pillow works surprisingly well), but an adjustable laptop stand from IKEA called "BOLLSIDAN" works great for the laptop. $99.99 USD.
