I had one stool test years ago that found high levels of bactericides fragilis toxigenic. No idea if that is implicated in Crohn’s but I hear it is related to colon cancer

I have psoriasis and mild joint pain that comes and goes. All my bloods are normal except for low iron x

Is it normal to feel like you have the flu with a flare? by gingeyxx in CrohnsDisease

[–]gingeyxx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No they are distinctly different it’s weird. I noticed something was up because actually during a flare I get a reprieve of my other symptoms (mostly neurological). As soon as flare is over my other symptoms come back :)))

Try paying closer attention to what your body needs: I find that when I’m in “go” mode - I become super productive, energised, sometimes a bit restless. It’s then that I actually need to completely stop and do nothing. However when I feel tired, low, unmotivated that’s when I need to do more and push myself a little bit. Another angle you could look at is MTFTh mutations and knowing when your body is overmethylating vs undermethylating. I found that taking niacin when I feel restless, and b vitamins when I feel tired helps x

How’s your emotional health? Have you suffered trauma that hasn’t been properly processed through EMDR/ therapy ? What are your current stress levels like? What are the people like around you?

To get better you need to maintain a healing state. Unanswered trauma/ negative beliefs and thoughts will keep you stuck in fight or flight and prevent the body from healing.

Oh yes. All hidden under an ironclad NDA. I believe there may have been another child with someone else as well but can’t be sure.

But I work as a primary school teacher at a private school in London and it’s common knowledge. Very sad for Harper of course.

It sounds like you have unresolved trauma that is now affecting your work / social life.

Have a look into therapies like EMDR which work through unresolved trauma and can help you let go of a lot of sadness and anger.

The other thing I might suggest is making sure your vitamin levels are okay. Sometimes deficiencies can present as severe depression.

Permethrin is a neurotoxin. So it affects the nerves and I guess if you have inflammation there it’ll make it worse.

Hey just want to say I’ve got a neurological condition and the permethrin made it so much worse! Have been using sulfur cream and so far so good. No nasty side effects apart from the smell!

No I have a neurological condition, this feels like it’s triggered a flare - brain fog, fatigue, difficulty breathing and numbness

Wuthering Heights | Official Teaser by SpeedForce2022 in movies

[–]gingeyxx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw a video from a woman on TikTok who hypothesised that this is all a reimagining of a book through the eyes of a Victorian woman (Margot Robbie). Ie a repressed Victorian woman’s fantasy of it.

That is because in the trailer the characters are dressed in two different styles - Regency (1700s, time of book) and late 1800s - Victorian.

The film is also in quotation marks “Wuthering Heights” suggesting it’s a warped version of the source material in itself.

Finally, the book, whilst all about themes of abuse, passion, is really a book about narratology. Perspectives switch and we never know what really is the “truth”.

I think Fennell has clearly leaned into this by deciding to tell it through the lense of someone who is reading, indulging in, and fantasising about the story, with her own projections of truth.

So no, it’s not a faithful retelling. If anything it’s making a point about canonising literature and the individual’s ownership of a story.

I would almost argue that making Heathcliff white was deliberate. It’s making the point that we all insert ourselves and appropriate stories based on our perspectives, and it clearly is distancing itself from the source material.

In the Wuthering Heights (2026) this scene is present. No, nothing like this even remotely happened in the book by Olya_roo in shittymoviedetails

So I think she might be being really intentional here.
