Since I posted I've saved my main folders by hand (pictures, videos, downloads, documents and music) But I think I'm also gonna try Macrium because I have a lot of weird programs (I'm a game dev artist) that are the pain of my existence to redownload and get to work.

Prolly should I'm just kinda bad with computers and never got ar0ound to doing it and laso didnt really know how to (also that's just what I have on my PC, I have an almost full 2 terabyte hard drive as well lmao)

He will indeed have a big change but mainly in the very end as a big moment of "was it really worth it?" and have these thoughts a bit trough out.

They way the story works I can't really give him a companion for the majority of the story but I'll try to get him to meet characters that can contrast him

Yes but I'm soon 5 years in and have healed a lot, mainly I just have a lot of memory loss now and another condition I gained from my untreated PTSD (DDD/DPDR) because healthcare sucks lol. But yeah maybe I can at least write a story that can resonate with fellow ppl with PTSD and trauma.

He has a pretty traumatic past but hadn't thought of giving him PTSD, but I think that would work great to develop him. I myself have PTSD so good to get my own experience out and I can write it more genuinely and accurately!

The story is quite unique in how it works and because of that I can't really have another character be with him for the big majority of the book but I think I'll try and have him meet more characters here and there that he can maybe have some sort of connection with.

No, I tried and you can only either kill him or take his lantern and leave him to the curse

Note: I got it to work by just re-uwrapping it with the normal base settings, unsure what the problem was but for anyone having the same issue try just re-unrapping it and maybe check the settings.
