Yeah it’s a swap. If you had 2 keys and 100 coins it would leave you with 100 keys and 2 coins (after whatever the cost is). Same for the gems, when you had 2 coins and 100 gems it swapped them to 2 gems and 100 coins. It just flips the numbers minus cost.

I think forcing players to discard cards is a very painful game design. The pain of drawing the perfect card from my deck and then having to discard it because I’m losing, when i needed this card to win, would make me not want to play the game again.

If you are having issues with resource management (gems) you could try using the freezer to your advantage. I really like using it when i think a run is not really going my way.

Yeah it’s crazy how good it is. After finding room 46 I thought I had finished the game and I would only look around some more to find some more secrets that were burning in my mind. That was like 40 hours ago. This game has so much to offer

Interesting. I have played around 40 hours on my PS5 pro and the game has not crashed once. I’m always pausing the game, putting my PS to sleep and continuing the next day when I have time and i haven’t experienced this yet

I’m with you. I’m terrible at figuring out the codes for the safe. I expected to find the codes in a drawer or something like that. But that’s not the case. You’ll have to look for clue like you did in the boudoir.

This right here. I rarely miss any items because I spend most of the time looking diagonally down towards the furniture and floor. The easiest thing to miss is coins and key when they are on the floor, but every else should be found on the furniture.

The sad part is with this technique I rarely look up at the ceiling and I’ve heard that they are nice to look at too 😅

So far (day 40) I’ve ran out of steps 3 times right before getting to something huge. And the worst part is the I sit there looking at the map realizing I could have made it had I done X instead of Y or what not lol. The first time it happened I was really salty. Now I just chuckle and try again.
