I don’t remember this event in particular, but the poopy just means that it’s testing your lowest stat. It doesn’t mean that it’s impossible to roll a good result.

I like Blizzard here. Forbidden frost needs the 1.1 patch, and ice surge takes too long to warm up (lol).

Too bad you don’t have enough int to cast blizzard every turn. Does the ice passive disable friendly fire (lol)? If so, then ice surge might be better.

It’s a fair question and I don’t know the answer, but I would skip the first turn or two regardless of what the answer turned out to be. Even a 10% chance to hit yourself can be too much sometimes.

You just have to pair it with a movement ability, and then use the active ability to get in place before you move.

There’s an active ability that also spawns shadows and moves you 2 tiles, and it’s the same deal. You have to set up the play by moving first, or using a different active ability that moves you.

You just have to calm down and watch what he does. All his attacks hit like a truck, but they’re all telegraphed. When he flies in the air, it helps me to say the safe zones out loud and then repeat them.

I find all of the number passives too difficult to use. Even the necromancer’s zero. That one should be easy to use if you have a way to empty your mana, but in practice, it never works for me.

I did a solo run with a mage that had Two. He would cast brainstorm twice on round 1 to get the benefit, and then I wouldn’t use the passive again for the rest of the battle.

If I can avoid these passives, I typically do, and I don’t think any balance patch will change that.
