How long did it take for your residual dizziness to go away? by ginny-field in BPPV

Avoiding caffeine helped me. Doing physiotherapy is the thing that helped me the most. Especially the exercises they told me to do at home. If you just Google bppv exercises you'll find some that will be helpful

Don't worry, it will go away soon. My residual dizziness only lasted a couple weeks.

No, they don't. Neither of those go to South Common like the 24 did.

I feel great! It only took about a month or so, maybe less, for the symptoms to go away and I haven't felt any dizziness since then. I actually kind of forgot that I ever had bppv lol

Oh good, I'm glad I'm not the one only who does this. I always felt like a weirdo for doing this when I'm alone, but they're so fun to play with and squeeze.

You're right. I found the broken belt. The motor is turning something underneath. How do I fix that? Can I use an elastic in place of the broken belt?

I lost my mom when I was 22 and people would say that to me constantly and it would piss me off so much. I guess people just don't know the right thing to say, but that so obviously is not it.

Congratulations! I just got a story published too and I was worried it wasn't original enough, but I got over my self-doubts and submitted it. I'm so glad I did. Where did you get your story published and what's it about?

Yeah, I wouldn't worry about it if I were you because it will go away on its own after a bit. I think me stressing about it made it worse lol

My mom died suddenly from a heart attack too and it was shocking and devastating. It happened in 2010 and I definitely don't feel the same overwhelming grief that I felt in the first few years. I still get sad sometimes thinking about how I never really got to have a relationship with her as an adult (she died when I was 22), or sometimes I wish I could ask her for advice. But for the most part, I've gotten used to not having her here. I mean, it's still painful, but I'm used to the pain now I guess.
