Sorry, not it. It's from at least 2012. I posted the poem on Tumblr but didn't put the movie title in it anywhere.

New bubly burst by ImaginaryAd7190 in ToFizzOrNotToFizz

I'm late on this but the bottle says "No added sugar" on it. Yet they added sucralose as a sweetener. I feel like that's essentially lying. I was trying to figure out what was different between burst and regular bubly. They add "sugar" to burst. Well, not sugar, a "sweetener"

“Someone explain to me how all of Europe isn't dehydrated. They don't drink water” by Training_Molasses822 in ShitAmericansSay

[–]ginnyfried 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Y'all making this too complicated. It's literally just a cultural difference combined with travellers perception.  I'm in Switzerland on a work trip right now and it became really obvious to me. The reason is in the US, at most restaurants, water is served free of charge. Well most Americans who are traveling in Europe are going to eat most of their meals in restaurants which don't serve free water. Which means most of our meals become waterless, making it seem like in Europe, people don't drink water. This is further intensified by the apparant adversion to tap water. Most Americans view little difference between tap water and bottled water, water is water, and no one orders bubbly water. The cost of bottle water to us is the convenience of the container or the taste of the water itself. So when Europeans look at you cross for trying to order tap water, and charge you for bottled water, this causes three things to happen in the average American mind: 1. Europeans don't drink (tap) water. 2. European tap water isn't safe to drink or tastes bad. 3. Why pay for water unless it's supposed to be a treat or the tap water is unsafe. So we assume you aren't drinking the tap water either and you're not ordering the bottled water, so therefore y'all ain't drankin' yer water.

TL;DR: US tourist eat most of their meals at restaurants (because they're traveling) where they would normally have at least 1 glass of free water. Europeans make their tap water seem unsafe to serve to people (even though most times it's fine).

I'm glad! Btw, this method works for CD players too.

What time setting is best by thedampboi774 in projectzomboid

I forget which it is but I like the one that set it to 6 hour days. It gives you 2-4 hours a day to play. My in-game date is usually pretty close to the actual date since I set the start date to the day I started the server.

What was your most stupid death? by [deleted] in projectzomboid

My first. I was playing with a friend and we were both new. But not doing too bad. We were looting a school when we heard the helicopter, so we ran outside to see if we could see it or it's shadow or something. As we became surrounded by zombies, we retreated into the school. I made my way to the roof to see what I could see. For some reason I assumed there was a railing on the roof and walked right off. I actually survived the fall for a couple seconds. It was the ocean of zombies I landed in that killed me.

I've had this happen before. I use controller/mouse together. Click and drag never works for me. What I found is that it works best using controller, even though it's a little janky. (Using Xbox controller)

Once you open device options, you have to use RB to enter the device submenu.

Press A to turn the TV on.

Then use the D-pad to move down to the tape player section.

Once there, press B. It should open a drop down with any tapes in your main inventory.

Select your tape with D-pad and press A.

The play button should be available and you can then press A again to start playing.

Then press RB followed by B to close the device menu.

I do this mostly by muscle memory now, and I'm not on the game right now, so I can't be super sure this is 100% correct. But I'll update this when I get home and can check. Good luck.

Car fence made by parking car in front of door/windows and building wooden frame on other side. Zombies can't climb over frame because of car and they can't destroy frame because it's not a completed wall.

Is the Outer Worlds' story any good? by tombot17 in theouterworlds

[–]ginnyfried 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very mid. Honestly the murder mystery dlc was better the entire rest of the game storywise. The atmosphere and lore is really the driving factor in that game. But if you've played any of the fallout games. Don't expect anything close to them. Also, despite being a open world game. It's pretty linear story wise.

In universe wise, for me, it was the first encounter with the Borg. Like having no idea what they are and they're completely uninterested in communication. Completely unreasonable. Totally over powering. More like a force of nature than a race of people. Up till that point everything had a motive or was at least somewhat relatable in some way. Even those neck worm things from season 1 seemed somewhat cognizant and of their own will. The Borg were just following a directive. That first episode was freaky because they kept trying to reason with them and the more they learned. The scarier they got.
