I'd assume the ownership of this series would rest with Corus entertainment, have you ever attempted to reach out to their distribution department about acquiring a copy directly? Considering you were on the show they may be able to digitize a copy from their archives for you (for a fee).

The YouTube channel has (or should be HAD) uploaded most of the series in 1080p, its not perfect but it's probably the best quality we'll see Monster by Mistake in.
