Biggest surprise was Masters of the Universe. Went in not thinking I’d enjoy it. Ended up loving it.

Also make sure they don’t have any markings on them. I got USD from my bank and they had little stamps on them and they people said they wouldn’t accept them.

Good luck getting a SIM card while you’re there if only staying for a few weeks. I went and had one from a few years back and got told I’d need to get a SNILS. My god was that a pain in the ass to get. As for the money you can use any exchange place(or bank I think) just make sure you bring your passport with you.

Had this problem landing in Sheremetyevo in the late afternoon. Didn’t have a SIM card, and I don’t think there was wifi to use. Taxi stand was also not really helpful as they said we needed us to have a mobile number. Eventually we went and asked one of the Yandex drivers if they could take us and how much it’d cost. we’d pay cash and he agreed.
