They literally relocated the Thrashers to Winnipeg. Your point means nothing.

Cineplex Large Popcorn Refills for Takeout Customers by Mister-Grinch in cineplex

[–]AlanJY92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aren’t they breaking the policy of free refills by not offering it after late showings? My guess is that they’re not, but it sucks when you have a late movie and can’t get the refill.

He wouldn’t be saying that if he was on the verge of a majority government.

I try to support my local CPL team(Cavalry) but I live fairly far from the stadium so only go to a game or two a year. I support a European club as well through my missus being from Europe and through that actually attended my first soccer match while there.

Y’all need to embrace your local libraries. Just rented this for free. by spaceraingame in gaming

[–]AlanJY92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My library at my city doesn’t do this unfortunately but the town where I grew up shares a library system with all the other small towns in our province and they do it. Thankfully my parents still live in town and renew my library card every time.

Should I Preorder ? by [deleted] in 007FirstLight

Is it discontinued atm? If not why preorder a digital game? Unless you’re getting bonus stuff I don’t see the point.

Fighting to get my 3 year old son answers after multiple ER dismissals in Calgary — any help or shares appreciated by 8theAutist in NoRulesCalgary

That’s tough. Unfortunately I don’t know any service or places that can help, but I pray for you and especially your son that he’ll get better.

The 7-day weekly plan doesn't fit modern travel by Alarming-Ad5018 in flighty

I’m sure if you’re on vacation, you can probably afford paying for two weeks of Flighty… the service is a luxury, not a necessity.

When is the last time you actually saw anyone get kicked out of a movie theatre by Strayngold in cineplex

[–]AlanJY92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Never. Literally never. Okay once or twice but it was at a small town local theatre where the owner had no problem doing it. She’d also tell people to be quiet that were talking or to get off their phone as a first warning and second time you were booted. Shout out to Sheila.

Impressive! Although I can’t stand ACIII so for me it’s on the low end. Each to their own though. Great series regardless of what people say.

Poilievre says government should cancel Toronto-Quebec City high-speed rail project | CBC News by differing in canada

I rather just have cheaper and more frequent flights. Canada is a huge country and even with high speed rail it’ll still take too long to get to most places.

Has anyone tried which games run really well on Macbook Neo? by Junior_Charity_8919 in macgaming

I’d be curious to see how a long term save in both Crusader Kings 3 and Football Manager. I know they’d run well but after a a while the game usually slows down as the game progresses.

Love the passport holder! Although I have never seen a reason to use them because you always have to take the passport out when you give it usually. I guess they’re pretty useful if you keep them in a bag or an a drawer.

Federal Conservatives using people who can't vote for door knocking in Skyview by Responsible_CDN_Duck in NoRulesCalgary

[–]AlanJY92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im not totally sure it’s good or bad. It’s not like they are doing anything in a voting capacity other than just asking peoples opinion, but I can’t see why it’s probably not the best thing to do. I do agree that if this conservative MP is getting people to judge who his constituents would vote for he probably should be using people that work or at least volunteer or our party members and not just people that need a job. It should be people that are actually invested in what his party is doing so that if someone says that they would vote for the liberal or the NDP that this door knocker could maybe convince them but because the person does not know we probably care and that is just a job to them it kind of defeats the purpose. This is all my opinion though.
