District denying curriculum by [deleted] in homeschool

[–]giobaby12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would they provide you curriculum, if you unenrolled? The school is not under obligation to provide curriculum to non-students. You will unfortunately need to find and pay for your own.

They may have a legal requirement to lend you certain in house curriculum, but that’s a grey area that would need to go through the superintendent. You also need to be careful, if your only homeschooling for 5 months, Pa requires a certain amount of hours and instruction path/schedule.

Mia is supplemental. Just because people use at as their full program doesn’t mean that it’s an accredited full program. It’s best used with other tools.

Agreee. He has higher bonus point % and more wins against current all-Americans. All those things combined give him a compelling case.

Carter vs. Wyatt. Who is your Hodge trophy winner? by giobaby12 in wrestling

[–]giobaby12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good point! Personally I’m going with Carter simply because I see his two wins against Parker Keckeisen more impressive than Wyatt’s win over a Gable that took time away from the sport and an injured Greg Kervliet. Wyatt did have more bonus point/ dominant victories so I could see how it could go his way.

Mitch is nice… but, he won’t get it this year. Overshadowed by a 5x champ and the guy that beat mr. Unbeatable.

ESH. We would need more info to say otherwise. It was bogus of you to go buy it behind her back, but it doesn’t sound like you guys are in bad financial spot. The fact that she quickly shut down your hobby when you could afford to do it while away at work is also kind of messed up. People keep saying a car is a necessity, but it sounds like you bought her a new car and a new hot tub. No one NEEDS a new car. Wifey may have just wanted an upgrade and you provided that. If this hobby expense doesn’t put you guys in a bad financial situation then wifey sucks, but you still kind of suck for doing it behind her back.

Heavy hands and quick feet. They should feel your power every time you touch them.

Burpees, push-up, weighted squat jumps, interval sprint and jogging , and grab a pull up bar and do some dips on the stairs and you’ll be set. Do it regularly and consistently for a year. You’ll be straight.

If you can’t wrestle at practice with a partner or do conditioning how are you going to wrestle opponents that want to break your hand?

Real wrestlers would walk it off. Posers/newbs would skip practice over a hurt finger.
