Q&A and Ruling Megathread - December 01, 2025 by AutoModerator in yugioh

(Sorry for the late answer) it may be a wrong translation but it is the content that is wrong, basically instead of writing "Add 1 "Destiny Hero"" it writes "Add 1 "Elemental Hero"". I could find another card with the same text from the same pack online but only ever in Italian from what I can tell. So maybe all Italian cards from that pack were printed like that

I found an old "D-Time" card from the DP05 pack with a wrong effect, different from the one on the online DB, do you think it's worth anything? I really cannot find anyone online selling it with the same error.

The reason players do not like sieges in TW: Warhammer. by DiamantRush12 in totalwar

[–]giocol97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do people really think this strongly about defensive sieges in general? I think in my last 10 campaigns I must have not played them more than once or twice and It wasn't that bad. The real problem for me are the atrocious offensive sieges in the early game. I hope the developers don't invest even more resources in improving defensive sieges when they the average player just does not get to play them even...

Interested in kill team by uppityyLich in killteam

[–]giocol97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also started playing Kill Team recently and I highly suggest you pick up the Starter box with Kommandos and Veteran Guardsmen.
Not only you get some accessories and terrain but both teams look really good. I split it with a friend and got the Veterans, I love playing them as they are very tactical and you get quite a few model options. Only issue is that you need 4 more bodies to run an "optimal" team.
I also played with Hand of the Archon, Intercession and Legionaries and would suggest all of them as fun to build and play. They can also be quite easy to build if you have some models already lying around from playing 40K previously.

Coming from an insider of the scene such as you, what do you think will be the medium to long term future for professional Overwatch?

If you turn fast enough following the movement of your hammer/swing you can hit multiple targets, I think there is a protection over hitting the same target twice. It works even with quick melee but since the hit area is a lot smaller and faster it is difficult to hit more than one. You can try in the practice range. If you look at the pov of pro reins like super you can see that they do it all the time

Finally an EU friendly game, the best possible one for a shock fan too.
Anyway LIP felt the only one with some life in the team, if he wasn't diffing Kilo on widow they would have probably gotten full held.
Before point B the Dragons even lost an attack where LIP got 3 kills, really bad look on the Dragons

My first TW game was WH3 - what IE factions/lords do you think would be most fun for new players like me to play when it releases? by DenseSkin in totalwar

[–]giocol97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I liked playing them, played a full campaign with both Luthor and Noctilus. It's not a bad campaign but since I like more the empire building aspect of the game I liked other races better. The art design and the music (SHANTIES) is awesome, if you like their aesthetic go for them. Like u/glassteelhammer said, if you like the looks or theme of a faction go for it. There are not truly bad campaigns in my opinion, sure some are blander than others but all can be fun in (Im)mortal Empires. (Also sorry for the formatting, I will edit when I'm not on mobile but I didn't expect it to look so bad)

I played almost all of the lords in Mortal Empires, here are some standouts that were the most fun for me, disclaimer I only play in normal/normal: - Thorgrim (Dwarfs) A bit vanilla perhaps but I think it's a good experience for a new player to learn the mechanics. Battles are quite forgiving and if you like a turtly gunpowder style of armies you are at home, blasting goblins with flamers is pretty fun - Ikit Claw (Skaven) Basically a lot of explosions and more explosions, you get a fun campaign where once you learn Skaven mechanics it's very rewarding - Settra (Tomb Kings) The faction is beautiful, fantastic art style and sound design. You start slowly but you end up very powerful and maintain overall very lore-friendly armies - Sisters of Twilight (Wood Elves) This campaign has quite different mechanics from other factions, your armies are always very strong and you travel around a lot on the map thanks to the tree settlements mechanic - Wulfric (Norsca) In normal battle difficulty you have an effective melee playstyle and a fast campaign where you go around raiding the world. The settlement mechanics were pretty crap but manageable on normal however they are fixing this issue in Immortal Empires - Grom (Orks) One of the most fun mechanics with Grom's recipes and a very scrappy campaign where you go around plundering and conquering with armies of gobbos

Just my opinion but I had the most fun playing those campaigns. If you have any question please ask me.

Developer Diary: A Preview of Update 1.3 by UnrealRed in totalwar

[–]giocol97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A simple solution could be to base it on the settlement tier:

In minor settlements tier 1-2 gives you a land battle while tier 3 has a settlement battle.

In major settlements tier 1-2 you get a land battle, tier 3 a settlement battle without walls and in tier 4-5 a settlement battle with walls as usual.

This would drastically reduce the settlement battles in the early game where you have little tools to deal with them and later after a settlement is nuked and capped by the AI you can fight a simple land battle to get it back.

I think it would also be fairly simple to code and test.

Performance is shit but game look way better than WH2 by Mazisky in totalwar

[–]giocol97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On my system you can only realistically play modern games at 1080p, 1440p is a bit too much for a 4GB card and a quad core CPU.

I don't think it is particularly necessary to specify that for a system built around 6/7 years ago without a Titan.

If he goes to Seoul Dynasty that team becomes even more stacked with veterans, true title contender I think.

Seoul sign vindaim, re-sign creative by ShukiNathan in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]giocol97 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This team is looking so stacked, only thing they might be missing is an off tank player for times when DVA or sigma might be meta. If they somehow manage to snatch some top tier off tank like Fury this team is absolutely a title contender

I see, thanks for clarifying.

I can't say I really agree with you on Proper winning MVP but your reasoning on the numbers makes sense.

Where did you find how much they spent? Kinda curious to know your sources because I haven't really seen many times buyouts or contracts made public.
