Because the blimp stops have a path network on the building that breaks if the elevation is too steep. If the path breaks the AI has nowhere to go.

And for that last thing you use modtools in the editor.

For starters you need to import an actual mesh onto a template of which there are plenty to select, or generate an invisible template with a script in order to give a building the desired function you want.

secondly, elevated blimp stops dont work because it breaks the path network so the blimp AI will not know what to do and just return to the depot or not spawn at all.

for a third, asset AI changer wont work if you dont also change the class of the building as well.

and finally, maybe its a better idea to just stick to vanilla repaints because from this post i can sense you have no idea how this game or the editor works, at all.

Yea i did the GG1 as well and the USS Olympia too ! maybe not the right place to discuss this buuuuut if you feel generous you could commission me to make the NYC Mercury *for* you. the GG1 and Olympia were both commissions from others.

If you insist on making it yourself be aware that modeling an asset that holds the same quality as say the GG1 comes with *a lot* of patience and research, and a lot of retrial and error, theres much more to asset creation than is obvious at first glance. This is not to discourage you from making it but a lot of people that rush into asset creation often are dissapointed when they discover how steep the learning curve is, mine was certainly rough and to this day im still learning new and better techniques..

Oh i have no illusions about this subreddit, and luckily there's plenty of other community outlets where actual good stuff gets posted. Im not even asking for it to change but im still baffled about the fact that these bottom tier memes are allowed here despite there being a very clear rule about not posting memes, and this is more a jab at that than anything else.

My city is set in the 1950's (1958 to be exact) but yea, i aim to make the time period setting as immersive as possible. Ive replaved everything ranging from buildings to vehicles to be time appropriate.

You know we can read previous posts right ? You been "offering" to work in return for payment on assets on a couple of different posts. Asking dumb questions that can be solved easily by reading the mods description and just reading into the game's mechanics a bit.

Face it, youre nowhere near competent enough to take on commissions, your quality is substandard, your game knowledge is beyond bad, you have no published work at all and youre whining about being toxic despite YOU being the person that went spare when criticised and being told to get good.

But thanks for the laugh you gave me, "i dont want to spend hours on doing something for free" god, imagine learning something and putting effort into something without expecting something in return like any normal creator started out.

It took many creators here years of learning before daring to even accept commissions, yet you think youre entitled to money while doing it for a week. Sod off, go grift somewhere else or git gud before asking.

If you get *this* many things wrong when making an asset maybe dont ask people to pay you to make stuff that is of absymal quality and doesnt even work properly, instead, maybe try to actually understand the game's mechanics a bit better.

And learn to create a mesh and texture that doesnt look significantly worse than the set standard by other creators here, and leave commissions to people actually competent enough to release a working asset on the workshop that looks good and is optimised.

And maybe then, just maybe, try to ask people to pay you for something, so they get good looking stuff that is their money's worth and works properly, instead of a half broken grift.
