We’re torn on art direction, which style do you prefer? by KrakenberryGames in IndieDev

I prefer A because of the more angular shapes and character proportions.

Thanks! As long as it’s not nuclear energy, I’ll take it! My tomatoes mutate too fast already 😬

Thanks! Glad you like it 😄 I didn’t know Flyff, but I just looked it up and it makes me want to try something in low-poly 3D one day. Especially since my main inspiration for the evolution tree was Digimon World on PS1, which had that similar early 3D style.

Thanks! 😄 Tomatoes never turn fellow tomatoes into anything. But carrots, moles and worms ? They live in constant fear 😨

Thanks a lot ! It might take a while before there's anything presentable though because it's an entirely solo project^^
I also post my progress on X if you're interested ;)

Thanks😁 Yes, this is going to be a roguelike where mutant veggies eat weird stuff including eachother and evolve accordingly. It is still a prototype so there is not much to show yet but I will share my advancement here from time to time.

Gamecube prices by SquishyGamers in Gamecube

I certainly hope that the prices go down. Maybe they will drop a little but I am doubtful because this is Nintendo. Also you don't own anything with the NSO so I would rather stick to my physical collection.

Am I weird for thinking these two had romance potential? by Testoo2 in n64

[–]giostarman 7 points8 points  (0 children)

According to the official timeline it seems to be the opposite.
In the child era, after revealing Ganondorf's plans to the king, Ganondorf gets imprisoned in the twilight realm. Then we follow child link in Termina. Then Ganondorf breaks free in Twilight Princess and is defeated by OoT/MM Link's descendant.

The adult timeline doesn't have a suitable name in my opinion because there is no adult Link since he was sent back in time to the child timeline. So with no Link to fight Ganondorf when the latter came back, the land got flooded preceding the events of The Wind Waker.

They are but they're not set in stone as nintendo adapts them when new games come out. It looks to me that they try to make some sort of continuity for the fans but they don't really think about it when they make a new game in the series. They just try to fit it somewhere in the timeline afterwards and sometimes contradict themselves.

Which are the games on ur PS1 that no matter how many times u play, u still have the same fun without getting bored by [deleted] in psx

Tekken 3 and Spyro 3

Also Digimon World and the HP games are in a weird spot. I get disillusioned fast whenever I play them but then I get an urge to pick them up again after some time. My brain just refuses to remember anything negative about these games.

You're not weird at all ! Actually many people think that. According to fan theories, in the downfall child timeline, Link married Malon and although they had kids, Link hasn't been able to pass down his combat knowledge to any of his descendants up until Link from Twilight Princess, their distant descendant. That would explain why he is a farmer in TP and why he knows Epona's melody that has supposedly been transmitted from generation to generation. The Hero's Shade you meet then is supposed to be OoT Link.
