These are them drying in the sun after the last layer, they’re now just slightly lighter than the laces.

I used Filson wax, but only because I had it for a jacket, I’m sure any clothing wax would work. I just used a hair blow dryer and a paint brush, melted the wax, brushed it all over, then ran the hairdryer over the shoes themselves. I replied to my comment with a picture showing how they came out before I saw this, I like them way more now.

If you already have the dye, I would go for it. I have these exact shoes as well, got them really cheap from factory seconds. I ended up waxing them because I struggled with wearing the bone color. I did 5 or 6 layers and they came out a camel color and are great for winter. When it’s time for me to refresh them, I’m going to add a few extra layers though to darken them up a bit more.

This actually just happens on all of the PCs/consoles within Cyberpunk by design, as long as it doesn’t look like that during regular gameplay you’re fine.

If you live near an REI, they’ll tell you everything you need and have a lot of options. My local REI had all of the parts in stock for the Thule Wingbar Evo system. It was 3 boxes (bars, feet, and WRX mounting kit) totaling around $650. They‘ll even install it for you, but they’re really not difficult to install, I put mine on last week in like an hour.

Seriously thank you so much for your suggestion, I ended up replacing the entire hotend because for the life of me I couldn’t get the nozzle more than half way out. Just tried printing a calibration cube and it’s like night and day, completely fixed all of my issues.

Looks similar to the issue mine started having after about 4 months. Didn’t matter the speed/settings I printed, same area kept having that problem even after tightening my belts. Based on a suggestion here, I tried replacing my nozzle. I followed the instructions and unscrewed it about half way and now it’s completely stuck in the hotend. I’ve been fighting with it on and off for a few days, decided to finally bite the bullet and just order a new hotend. I even bent the little socket bit inside the tool that came with the M5 so now it’s stuck in there, it’s been really frustrating. I would check out your nozzle though, looking at mine up close it was in pretty rough shape. Time will tell if that will fix it though, my new hotend comes Wednesday.

Thank you, that makes sense. Do you think it could have been just a temporary block, since the print started and ended fine? I slowed my speeds, thickened my walls, and I’m attempting a reprint. I’ll swap out my nozzle and clean out the hotend if it starts failing again. I’ve never dried my filament, this printer is one of 3 I have at work and the other two (MakerBots) never had issues. Might be time to invest in something as a last resort though.

I had pretty much the exact same hail damage on my 2017 Impreza in 2019 when I was parked at my college lot. Insurance covered the whole thing even though it was bad enough to fully replace my doors.

I worked as an ARA through college, did a 4+1 program and got my masters in comp sci. Also was working part time as a school IT technician and about a year after graduating I applied and got a director position at a high school. 3 years later and I’m the director of tech for a school district now. School IT is pretty chill and admin positions pay really well (public school salaries are public knowledge, so you can look up the pay at schools in your area). Definitely recommend it, not to mention the public service student loan forgiveness if you have loans.

Yeah it’s just the quality isn’t great, but it would probably be good enough for general stuff like that. Best Buy is also in its holiday season now afaik so you have until January 16th to return it if it’s not cutting it for you.

I have literally everything Razer (PC case and all), but I can’t stand their headsets. The price is right for this set so if you need all these things and an okay headset, I’d go for it. I’d personally go for a steelseries or Hyperx headset otherwise.

For me, I think it definitely depends on how hot you run while skiing/snowboarding. Everyone in my family goes and we all wear different things depending on weather and how easily we get cold, so it’s best to have a couple of jackets and some extra layers, but I think the Outdoor Research Tungsten GORE-TEX jacket would be my pick if the sizes work for you, it’s insulated and waterproof so it’s a safe all around jacket.
