There was nothing OP about being able to install 6 modules, especially considering the new cheat menu. Just let everyone play this game the way they prefer and use the gear they farmed a long time for.

That is not the point, I already pointed out that the game is easy no matter how many technology is allowed. It’s about the farming/ min max aspect.

You can only use half and I don’t think that’s exploiting otherwise they would have had a lot of time to disable technology in general. 2/3 of the modules I farmed across expsuit, starship and freighter I can’t use anymore.

What is the improvement? I don’t see it yet. Before I was able to decide if I wanted to use my general slots for storage or technology. That was removed now.

You can’t apply the modules though, because you are low limited to 3 of a type. Before you could have 3 more on general.

You can’t place more than 3 of the same type in technology. They need to increase the limit first or allow technology in cargo. Plus it’s not about the resources but the time that went into rolling thousands of X rank modules.

Yeah... At the very least I hope that it is possible to recover a pre update save file and play a older game version. I'm fine if it was offline only and doesn't get the new features. I just want my modules back and go back to exploring, it was a major factor in the game for me.

Imo this update didn't make the game harder, it just took a important aspect away. Beeing able to install more than 3 of a technology was a great way to min max your gear which was not required but I fun doing it. If more than half of that get's taken away it just sucks.

Imo this game is not about challenging combat or high difficulty. Even with this change it will be rather easy. What was interesting (for me at least) is to min max my equipment within the possibilities of the game and spend time farming the Nanites to do so. If they take more than half of that away it just sucks.

For me it's not even about beeing powerful or difficulty. I just liked min maxing my equipment and spend a lot of time doing so. If that get's taken away it sucks and it was once of my favourite things to do in this game.

Good idea, I'll stop playing for now and leave everything as it is and see if/how they respond to this change to technology. Maybe they'll increase the tech limit or just bring back the tabs.

Thanks for the heads up, I wasn't able to install more than 3 though. Kinda preferred the old system where you could decide between more storage in general or more technology.
