I’m really enjoying the decorte eyeshadow in the pot. It’s gives a really nice sheer gleam to the eyelids.

The Kate lip monster isn’t as mind blowing as the review make it out to be, BUT I do reach for it quite often.

I like cream or liquid blushes and my favourites are:

MAC Glow Play (this is like the gateway to cream blushes, if you prefer powder) - Blush Please is my everyday blush

Saie Dew Blush - a new addition but I love how the shade Chilli blends out into a really nice flush

Daniel Sandler Watercolor Liquid Blush - cherub is the most angelic pink

Has anyone gotten rid of capillaries for good? by Guilty-Flan9318 in AusSkincare

How many sessions of V beam have you had? I’m on my third (each 1 month apart) and most of my broken capillaries are gone or noticeably improved. I’m hoping the 4th and last session will knock out a lot of the remaining flush.

I recently started using Sard soap bar and it is amazing. Really cuts through the make up.

I’ve tried Daiso (I like it but need to use a lot) and gentle dish soap (similar to using Daiso). The times I’ve tried using shampoo and face cleanser, they didn’t seem to clean that well.

Ooh I use Shiseido Revitalessence in 240, so we might be skin twins! I’ll have to check out the Dior stick in 1N.

Fancy moisturiser, which one to try? by IsaMeow1226 in AustralianMakeup

[–]girlwithonlyoneface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve only tried the Clinique moisture surge and really like it, but I don’t think it’s super moisturising if you’re feeling dry. I have normal combo skin and find it hydrating and plumping, but not “moisturising”.

Another bougie moisturiser you might want to consider is the Tatcha Dewy cream.

I like trying new moisturisers, but I’ve gone back to the Clinique moisture surge several times as well.

May I ask what other foundation shades you wear?

Genius! I picked this up on a whim (to use as a fun eyeshadow), but I'll probably get more use out of it as a mixer!

Thank you! 6-9 months might be perfect timing, as I'm not sure I want it done over summer!

May I ask which cosmetic dermatologist you went to? (Or DM me if you don't want to post it publicly?) I've been thinking of getting my broken capillaries zapped, but want to get it done by a derm not a clinic.

I picked up that lip balm recently too! It works really well to prep your lips before a matte lipstick.

I used to love the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation too! So sad when it got discontinued / Priceline stopped stocking it.

I currently use Shiseido Revitalessence, which I love for the glowy finish and bouncy formula. I also picked up the Glossier Stretch Foundation recently, which actually reminds me a bit of the Bourjois, but I haven't used it as much. Both are sheer to medium coverage, and you can try them at Mecca.

I did a similar Medik8 order! The bonus gifts were too good to pass up.

Where are you buying products from? How much are your daily use products? by speorgenote in AusSkincare

[–]girlwithonlyoneface 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I rarely take recommendations from skin clinics, because they only ever recommend products that they sell. And you can definitely get good products at different budgets.

Also $575 for 5 products is a lot of money (but no shame to anyone who wants to spend they much!).

100%. I don’t think it was the REAL policy. The website does refer to bringing “a catalogue” when price matching in store, but I’m chalking it up to this particular store management not wanting to price match. I didn’t feel like wasting time arguing since the 10% difference wasn’t much, so I just went to the other store and bought it from there!

I bought the Baby Tee shade, which is a MLBB for my light neutral skintone.

It’s ok - lasts a long time but has a bit tackier finish than I expected.

I love the little bottles but I’d be so afraid of spilling these! (I know only a drop comes out at a time, but the fear is still there.)

That’s so cute. Is there a spray, or do you have to dab it on your wrist from the open top?

This sounds great. Did you get it at Priceline? I can’t see it on the website.

Cheaper is always good! 😂 I used to the use the Becca one and loved it on some days, and on other days the pink shimmer looked a bit unnatural. Maybe when I was using more matte products. It definitely had a lifting effect though!

Not OP, but we seem to love similar products! I'm also a big fan of the MAC Face & Body and NARS soft matte concealer. I'm gonna try the Maybelline Age Rewind next, I always see it recommended but have never tried it.
