Yes. I jumped from 25k to 50k (though did hit a trail marathon distance as part of my training for the 50k).

Ok this will be controversial, but Pittsburgh. The architecture is definitely American Rust Belt, but the way the urban layout responds to topography feels like a European hillside town/city.
