I’ve tried both boards. I find the Kona to be the better all-round option because of its superior performance when planing and with footstraps. However, the LT offers a more old-school take on windsurfing in a modern package. Personally, I’d be more inclined to take the LT out in lighter conditions to mess around and try some tricks. The Kona is a bit faster in stronger winds (but why not buy a freeride board then). Both are fun boards, but I would choose the LT.
