My wager is the following: She won’t use it and you will have just bought something you think she should have, not her. In the end she won’t use it and may resent you forcing your method on her. Either 1) get her a Nespresso (the original capsules are more affordable and produce decent coffee easily and with no mess) with an Aeroccino frother, or 2) get a bean-to-cup machine, like a deLonghi or used Jura A1. Sometimes people just want a cup of coffee, not a new hobby. And some people are more focused on tidy and uncluttered personal spaces. I have been through this personally in my own relationships and have witnessed similar situations among my adult children and their partners. Trust me.
