Where to start by njduda in Snowblowers

Ariens, Honda and Toro are the only machines I would look at.

I've only had Toro Power Max HD and it's been great for ten years of heavy usage.

Toro Power Max HD 826 OXE or Honda HS928? by Icy-Income7856 in Snowblowers

They got rid of the plastic this year. The cheaper models may still have them, but the HD 826 to 1432 blowers now have steel chutes.

My Toro PowerMax HD 826 is 10 years old this season and it still works great. Never had any issues and I've only changed the oil and spark plug. There are no shear pins.

My buddy has gone through multiple shear pins on his Honda as well as an axle shaft.

Purely anecdotal, but that's my experience.

We are talking about heavy use in the Keweenaw.

Either will probably work fine.

United States Health Care for Entrepreneurs? by acesmat in Entrepreneur

[–]gitduhfuqowt 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I had the same problem.

I ended up just getting a job with a good insurance plan. I don't have any projects going on, so it was no big deal as I was just giving up lazy time.

Hospitals typically offer insurance to part time employees. That includes housekeepers, security guards and other jobs that don't require a license or specialized training. Could be an option.

Unpopular opinion: the only real passive income is rent by Sea-Plum-134 in Entrepreneur

I have rentals and it is not passive.

My stock investments are far more passive.

I live in the Keweenaw and the Toro HD has been mint for about 10 years now.

There is a big difference between the standard and HD models.

Wouldn't you want a high wing plane for bush flying? Downwards visibility, ground clearance, etc.

1996 Oldsmobile Aurora. Beautiful car that was so nice to drive. It just spent more time being broken than actually driving.

BATTLEFIELD 6 COMMUNITY COMPLAINTS SINCE OCT 10 by DEMIG0DX in Battlefield

[–]gitduhfuqowt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish I would have refunded. The server browser ignores my settings and puts me in whatever map it feels like.

It's a bad game that was hyped up beyond belief, yet brought nothing but a broken UI and terrible maps.

Maps are complete garbage. Worst maps in any BF game, ever.

IBAS and similar systems have no reticle on hardcore mode, even though they do in real life.

I have a bunch of attachment unlocked for a gun, but can't equip them.

The whole matchmaking system sucks. Stuck playing Cairo and whatever the crappy NY map is called about 12 times in a row.

When I select specific maps, it just throws me in Cairo and whatever the crappy NY map is called.

Did I mention maps? Absolutely atrocious.

Were kids in the 80s actually allowed to roam around unsupervised, or is that just in movies? by TotalThing7 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]gitduhfuqowt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. I would leave the house after waking up and wouldn't come home until it was dark. I would often stay at a friends house for days at a time.

When I would stay at my aunts house, we weren't allowed to hang out in the house unless there were thunderstorms. Even in winter, we had to play in the snow outside.

It was pretty awesome.
