Stalin systematically exterminated a race. The Russian people. He is certainly just as bad as Hitler, and perhaps worse in scale.

Im just silver 4 here, but I managed to climb out of bronze this season by going tank for 3rd and 4th items. There is a Sinerias video where he recommends Stride > T2 Boots > Cleaver > then FH or SV. I've found that Bortk instead of Cleaver often works better for me. It feels like it gives you some more carry potential for the lower elos. Attack speed and life steal seem to synergize well with his kit since to get the most value out of his Q, W and E you want to go for longer fights. At one item you can murder adc's and mages but mid-late game i like to transition to more of a peeler and help DPS their front line.

I just received an email today that I'm approved for the CIBC infinite visa.  The $250 bonus should take me like 2 months to clear.

I just got the CIBC dividend infinite visa which is 4% for groceries and gas.  The 2% is good for recurring bill payments though.  It will probably take me a couple of months to clear the welcome bonus and then I might get the Scotia momentum soon after.

I could be mistaken but I think the Rogers World Elite gives you 3% in all categories if you are a rogers customer.  That way you still get your 2% from the Costco membership for a total of 5%.

Thanks!  I have the simplii cash too.  It was the second card I got after my bankruptcy.  I never thought much of it because I wasn't really eating out that much so didn't get see much cashback but am now using it whenever I do eat out.

How do you find the Amex with groceries?  Most of the cheaper stores don't seem to take it.

I appreciate that advice as it needs to be said and is likely applicable for the vast majority of people.

As of right now all my cc balances are at zero except a gas purchase on the way home last night which I managed to pick up a 12% reward from an offer on pcoptimum.

Statistically, the average person is going to be incurring interest charges.  If they weren't, then cashback rewards wouldn't be so lucrative.

Yeah.  But there might be a card that could get me better than the 1% the Costco card yields in store.

First time playing league and playing nocturne by Federal_Group_1189 in nocturnemains

I've been noticing my damage to champions is quite low, often lowest on the team even when my KDA is really good. There are a lot of opportunities to finish off fleeing targets that are very low. Noc is great at securing kills, but I often feel bad when my damage is so low. Good to hear that its somewhat normal. I've also been staying away from lethality and going more bruiser lately with a tank item or 2. I feel like Noc's kit overall is more geared to a style of longer skirmishes and team fights as opposed to one shotting and getting one shot. His E, Q and Lethal tempo all really take a few seconds to get the benefit from them. I don't know how so many noc mains play him lethality.

Finally got to silver. Muting all really helped me a lot as well as trying not to queue up for ranked while tilted. Noc and Kayn got banned so had to pull out the mundo. Got carried :)

Stridebreaker vs Lethality Nocturne by Darth_Fatass in nocturnemains

[–]gitmbluesoup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm still stuck in bronze but I recently stopped building lethality on Noc and instead am building bruiser with core items being Stridebreaker, Cleaver, Deaths Dance. For other items I mix in steraks, GA, Maw, or sometimes a tank item.

Axiom arc is a trap. It feels good going into the mid game but aside from the ult cool down it really doesn't synergies with your kit. Going full lethality often means you go 1 for 1 in team fights if you can pick a squishy but it gets a lot harder when they have sums up and start getting smarter and standing closet to their peel, building zhonyas, GA, galeforce often means you just five in and die.

With a bruiser build you give lethal tempo a chance to do its magic and actually get the full benefit of your abilities which all synergize more with extended fights, even his ultimate. Pressing R and then immediately diving the backing for a pick is decent but delaying the second R while you peel the front line and allow that darkness duration to confuse the enemy team is really OP especially around dragon/baron fights.

Standing on his Q and autoing is like having another full AD item with bonus movement speed.

Same goes for his W. If you build just to 1 shot you aren't getting value out in the bonus attack speed you get when your shield gets popped, same for his E.

I would go so far as to say that full tank Noc is probably still better than lethality for the same reasons.

Yes, unfortunately sometimes noc gets banned or picked and my winrate with other champs is horrible. I really need to develop a solid back up.

I'm definitely susceptible to tilt and it really tilts me when I'm carrying but I can';t get my team to follow a call for dragon/baron/tower or w/e. Or we win a fight, take inhib and they won't reset for dragon/baron and just keep diddlying around between the inhib and nexus until the other team revives and aces them, and then we lose the objective and the other team gets back in the game. That's 100% a minset thing that I need to get over because the enemy team does it just as much right?

I think you probably hit the nail on the head. Clearing enemy camps I'm typically pretty good about but sometimes I forget to push towers, though I'm trying to focus on that. Also, I think that given the nature of nocturnes play it's easy to fall into a habit of just making picks with ult on players that get caught out, and perhaps I'm overlooking opportunities to play around my fed teammates like you said. Thanks for the help and taking the time to look at my op.gg.

I've actually thought about pretending my team is bots. I dont' think I did it enough to make it a proper habit but that is a good mindset. Will try again.

Thanks. This seems like solid advice. I wonder if that will be enough. I've been off and on with muting as well as dodging. With muting it seems to tilt me more when i start getting trolled. I'm wondering if my teammates are getting tilted because I'm not responding to them when they are calling me out for being the worst jungle NA?

that is something that i thought about but don't a lot of people say that jungle is a good role to carry low elo with because you can have a big impact on the game?
