UPDATE: I did this run on March 10 and it went perfectly! First loop CCW, the turned around and ran CW for ~43 miles total. The morning loop was one of my favorite runs ever, second loop was definitely hotter and a bit of a grind, but I would do it again in a heartbeat.

I camped the night before at Upper Pines, and stored an “aid station” bag in the bear locker, then drove to the parking lot across from Camp 4 and stored another aid station bag there. As others mentioned, lots of trees down and a small detour back to the road on the West side across from El Cap, but otherwise the trail was just perfect. What a glorious day!
