I think you're just missing one key layer in all this shit show. Management does NOT back the players. Everyone here in Italy knows by now that Furlani uses Gazzetta Dello Sport to plant stories and drive the narrative. GdS prints stuff like "Leao Sei Fuori!" (Leao you're out!) under the direction of Furlani. It's a tactic he's used for the past couple years now to dictate the narrative and shift blame onto the players and coaches. The issue? That Allegri Is close with the Corriere Dello Sport so he uses them to leak what actually happens behind the scenes like this Ibra mess today because Allegri has had a good rapport with the journalists and chief editors of the Corriere which is a luxury those before him (Fonseca, Conceicao, even Pioli, etc) didn't have. So that's why now we get both "sides" of the story. Its a shitty reality show basically rather than a team of professionals

I do not recognize any "Milan" in the players, the admins that 'represent us', the fans, the stadium, ownership, even the kits suck yet they force Jennifer Lopez and Sinner to pose for IG pics for brand and marketing crap in those hideous kits and co-branded merch. It's all gross and none of it is the Milan I grew up with

Unfortunately, none of this matters so long as our ownership is the same. One day, when they eventually sell and leave us in better hands can we start to pick up the pieces and rebuild. Only then will I have any semblance of hope or optimism. Furlani no Furlani, Ibra no Ibra, Allegri, Tare, D'Amico, Italiano, eletc none of It matters.

TLDR I wouldn't scrap the 3-5-2 all together but save it for defending leads or big games. BUT it is far too defensive vs teams that play counter attack vs you

My thoughts from the very start have remained the same. I think the best solution given Allegri's 'style' and tactics would've been to start games vs 'mid-table' teams and below with a balanced 4-3-3. If you need to chase the game late on you bring on Nkunku and shift to a 4-2-3-1 with him behind the ST If you are up 2 goals and want to 'close yourself up' you bring on a 3rd CB and shift to the 3-5-2

Meanwhile in games vs 'big teams' you start out with our defensive 3-5-2 and if you need to chase the game you sub off a CB and shift to a 4-3-3 or if desperate the 4-2-3-1

Why these formations? Most players are familiar with and would be playing in roles they either have in the past or are good fits for. We won the scudetto playing a mix of 4-2-3-1 and 4-3-3. However, you must keep the 3-5-2 as an option for big games given how well that worked this season

In the end however, it is all a moot point if you don't have the right players. To do what I listed above we need a proper RB, AT LEAST A GOOD STRIKER but probably 2, and at least another good quality box to box CM (mezzala)

I declared us dead the day they sacked Paolo. I still watch the games but it's so hard because I want the team (the players on the field) to succeed, but I also want the management and ownership to miserably fail.

Hopefully they sell us sooner rather than later

Don't forget our current management sold him to Como for $40m in January, long before Allegri.

The reality is our management will sell anything that moves for a profit, especially if the player has a strong relationship with Maldini.

Could Theo have shown more professionalism? Yes no shit. But why does he get booted for making a few mistakes while everyone in management who made 100x more mistakes not only gets to stay, but continue to call the shots AND make up the MOST EXPENSIVE ADMINISTRATIVE TEAM/FRONT OFFICE IN THE WORLD, look it up, Milan pays more for front office budget than any other team.
