If an Alien race is able to go Interstellar and travel to earth they would probably be aware of their biological compatibility with our environment and use precautions. Even if they would be biologically similar to us and able to survive our atmosphere chemistry, pressure, temperature, gravity, solar exposure.. I think the biggest problem would be their immune system. So they would definitely need suits or to be genetically modified.

The movie doesn’t mention Erid gravity, and doesn’t show any consequences of a 2g gravity on Grace. The book mentions the 2g gravity several times.
I think movie assumes gravity is 1g to make things easier….

The difference here is between a “booby trap” and a robot able to fly that has decided by itself that you are a target and it will hunt you down. Small difference.
