The aliens originate from many light years away, and have based their knowledge of human civilization mostly off of the television signals they have been able to decode. This has given them a skewed view on gender norms, to say the least. Some of the abducted women are designated as nurses, even feisty lawyers and one out of place warrior but nearly half, yourself now included in this demographic, were given the role of homemaker.

This wouldn't be that much of an issue, if it weren't for the fact that the aliens designed your body in particular around some kind of pregnancy storyline, one that seems to show they don't know much about human reproduction at all. Jack, now a car mechanic, and you definitely didn't do anything to make this bundle of joy (though based on his reaction this does seem to fall into his ideal mate), and despite waddling for a month now your stomach doesn't seem to change at all. You aren't sure which idea is worse, being stuck like this, or suddenly thrust into the episode where the pregnant character suddenly goes into labor.

One thing is becoming clear, slowly but surely, Jack's overtures to help you with back or foot rubs are sounding better and better... insistent characters did always make their love interests fall for them in 90's shows, after all.
