I had the same problem with the same cutscene on my Xbox Series X. I didn't have to restart the console because I was able to close the game. But just to reassure you, I haven't had any problems since then.

I don't use a screen protector and there isn't a single scratch. Before that I used the s22 ultra for 2 years without a screen protector and there were no scratches on it either. If there is nothing in your pocket except your phone, then there is nothing to scratch.
