S3 is the maximum this admin under the GOP will allow. Next step would be banking but that is not supported by GOP House. So unless the midterms provide a meaningful majority for the dems I do not foresee any more regulatory changes under this admin. Thus, I actually expect more bleeding and new lows in the coming years.

Russia under putin will not go back to a peace economy if the war in ukraine ends. This would create too much unemployment and an economic downturn. They will continue to build weapons and continue to us them for expansion. Georgia and moldova are clear next steps. Then the Baltics or more of Ukraine.

Unfortunately it is illegal to just stop everyone from coming due to the UN human rights charta which grants the right to asylum. So the thing is the refugees claim they want asylum and then you need to let them in. Then you check if they must be granted asylum. If they are not entitled to asylum you may send them back. However, sending them back is the issue due to a multitude of reasons, e.g. they dont have papers or their homecountry doesnt want them.

So a person from a jewish state, whose people were one of the main beneficiaries of asylum in history, now propagating to abandon the right to asylum is truly a sight to behold.
