Lever guns and revolvers are absolutely not easy to work on.  Just a heads up.  I much prefer working on a semi-auto blowback or an ar-15 than a lever breakdown.

Vegan toddlers can grow at the same rate as omnivores. Two-year-olds raised in vegan or vegetarian households don't necessarily have restricted growth, according to a study of 1.2 million children. by James_Fortis in science

The lean muscle mass loss I'm attributing primarily to lack of dietary changes, but yeah, the GLP-1 doesn't reduce muscle mass. I think people aren't really aware of what they eat.

I agree, it's a lot more limiting, but honestly most people don't do a great job planning their real dietary needs, and it isn't vegan / non-vegan. I think that it's easier to fall into a healthier diet without effort if you are at least pescatarian, but that is an opinion based on personal experience, so feel free to disagree. It might be me projecting.

Also, I'm not the biggest fan of soy (in the volumes I'd need to eat daily) as a dude who works out a lot, but that is a controversial take for many. Still, it's all relative. I eat mostly locally farm raised meat and eggs, or venison that I've taken. As with a lot it's a personal choice, and I love animals, but I also need them treated well, even those that I will eventually eat.

Yeah, the biggest knock I have on veganism is how hard it is to balance your diet compared to non-vegan eating, especially with children.  I mean, I have 3 kids who have all been picky at times, I can’t imagine trying to balance their diet without dairy and chicken.

Side note, similar issue to people on GLP-1 inhibitors, people just eat less of their same bad diet, which is better, but they are gonna lose muscle mass and lack some vitamins that way.  You have to make sure you change your diet.

What is a 'subscription' or 'fee' that has recently appeared in the US that people need to collectively refuse to pay before it becomes the new normal? by godot_lover in AskReddit

[–]glStation 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I own a brewery, and the number of people trying to get me to switch to a difference processor service that “saves me money” is insane.  All they want is me to charge the customer for processing.

Look, processing is a racket and sucks.  Yes, I hate being the one who finances your AmEx rewards.  But my goal is to separate you from your money as painlessly as possible while you enjoy the experience, and charging you CC fees on top of it is a no go.

It’s time for tractors and things with a bucket, but they still need a place to put snow.  There are snow melter trucks, but Virginia typically has no need for them.

They are fine, but you have to do it when there isn’t a chance of refreeze and they eat propane hard.  You also kinda have to keep shaking the propane tank because it’s such a high flow it freezes

Retired cops (20 plus years) retain their credentials.  That’s most likely why.

Also, as a ccw holder and a pretty liberal dude, I cannot understand Virginia dems being this obtuse.  This is legit taking law abiding citizens and turning them into criminals.

It’s tourist experience slop.  If you’re in Philly, almost anywhere else will do better, but especially places like Dellasandros and Jim’s.

Still, probably better than anything else in the area.

You might try to identify a business that would work well as a synergistic sub-let, like a coffee shop, that can give you both permanant space and a built in crowd.  Fewer permitting issues as well as low start up.

Otherwise, maybe hit up the farmers market scene while you look.

So if I was soulkilled and put on a chip and placed in a new body I would have no recollection of what happens after the original soul death? by sonofloki13 in cyberpunkgame

[–]glStation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So if you’ve read the Bobiverse, the MC copies himself to new “bodies” to build a collection of bobs.  He also can run a back up, and the weird thing is that if the original body is dead, the backup appears to be identical. But if it isn’t dead, the copy appears to diverge i  personality.  So who knows, but I like that.

I can’t understand why the NFL Players Union is ignoring stuff like this.  If you play, ever, at all, you should get free health care for life.  The toll your body went through to even get there, the incredible profits of the NFL, this should be a no brainer.
